Wish there’d been a playlist!

The music is all that’s missing from this book. Had to make one for myself as I listened to the incredible stories these brave and talented women— and men— have to tell.

Now More Than Ever

If you remember the girl groups and/or always wanted to learn about them this is the audiobook for you. Granted, it may not be for everyone; but it remains an undeniable documentation of musical history. As I listened to the audiobook I smiled and had the urge to download some of the music mentioned by the narrators. This is an informative and entertaining book.

The greed and ego of the artists and those involved with them

This is what I got from listening. About 10% of this book provided useful information to me. The remainder was full of drama, sickness, drug and alcohol abuse. I’m not sure anyone had redeeming qualities or made me respect them. When I started the book I had nothing but respect and admiration for the girl groups of this era only to have it taken away from me. The last half of the book was worse than nails on a blackboard. Sorry!
