Well Done - For Beginners Though

The Audio book is very well made as it combines several real interviews directly into the program. Pat is also a very good speaker and covers a lot of ground.

The book though is for the very beginner who is just looking for some initial way to break into an internet based business, and Pat's solution for this person is ebook sales. It covers a lot of getting started ideas and reinforces motivational needs. Joe Vitale offers a few very good concrete ideas on writing which a beginner has not heard but anyone doing any internet marketing has definately heard.

If you are just thinking of an internet business this is a good introduction and motivational beginning. If you are experienced, there will only be a few nuggets in here to take away.

I myself was of mixed emotions as whenever I can get a few new ideas from a book I consider it a win for me, but there was a lot of fluff and very basic information. Pat is positioning himself as the newbie trainer for newbies.

Waist of time

Don't listen to this book. It is a waist of time. Better pick anorher title on this subject.
Outdated, obvious & boring!

Don't waste your credit or money

As others have said before, this is a poorly disguised promo for Joe Vitale and his gang. I think the people who would make any money from the program in this audio book are the ones who are mentioned too prominently and too many times.

I was very disappointed in Audible's recommendation. Truly a product which would be better left off the audible inventory.

A thinly disguised "advertisement", one would be better off with Tim Ferris's "Four Hour Work Week" which provides a more unbiased overview of the potential of internet marketing.

Two thumbs down on this one!

Terrible: Poorly disguised promotional fare

Usually, Audible's recommendations for me are spot on. Because I have purchased "Four Hour Work Week", which was a decent enough book, this book was recommended. This was a mistake. Since I only listen to audiobooks while doing something else, I am glad 7 hours of my life weren't wasted. Otherwise, I'd be very angry.

To borrow another reviewer's idea that it's for beginners, is understated. It's actually for suckers, the kind of people who fall for the one-page get-rich-quick websites promising internet riches with no effort. I avoid those like the plague. This audiobook is just the audio equivalent of those sites.

To O'Bryan's credit, he is able to spin a good yarn, and it was enough to make me think that something useful was coming up to the final minute. It never came. Here is the summary:

"Platitude Platitude Platitude. Poorly disguised promo for Joe Vitale. Blather, blather, blather. More Joe Vitale promos."

Clearly, Joe Vitale is behind this audiobook, because the author clearly has some kind of obsession. There is nothing original, and the advice proffered may have worked for some many years ago. Today, there has been such an explosion in e-books and newsletters that all but the most clueless are immune. They are the same people who fall for the late-night infomercial on real estate riches, weight loss, and other pie-in-the-sky promises.

The one bit of advice I would take from the author is to check and see if ANYBODY -- and I mean ANYBODY -- actually makes money from his advice anymore. Insist on proof because I don't think it exists.

I have found authors such as Seth Godin and Tim Ferriss to be much more insightful.

Disappointed

I was very disappointed with this book. As another reviewer said. It is a Joe V. promo and Pat clearly likes Joe pretty much.

I do however admit that i did listen to the end and didn't stop halfway which i suppose shows there is something there even if it was just my hope for something.

This audiobook is basically part of the whole get rich quick scheme as proposed in the book itself.

If you are brand new to internet schemes, and that is what you want to do with your life, you will definitely be able to learn something from this book
