Highly Suggest!!!

Very good book that gives you the breakdown of what you need in your home studio, I am going to do further research but the book gave me good places to start.

The book is exactly as titled "An Introduction..." and I found it quite helpful. The author poses questions to help you define for yourself exactly what you want to record, which will also define what equipment you will need.

Fun and thought-provoking listen

Great book. A bit controversial but for a good reason. This is truly a book that shows you that you just need a computer and vst plugins to create commercial sounding music. It doesn't matter if you've got windows or mac. The mixing and mastering principles wo on every DAW too, it does not matter if you are using cubase, pro tools, ableton, fl studio, presonus studio one... everything just works. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Quite useful information.

What did you like best about this story?

The book itself is an essential, easy to hear and understand, reference guide for musicians (and non-musicians) who are new to home recording. It is also great for older musicians, like me, who spent their formative years on a quest to perfect the analog-based world of audio recording. I highly recommend.

What about Marc Schindler’s performance did you like?

fantastic!!!

Any additional comments?

High recommended book for me so i also want to recommend it!!!

Great Guide to Setting Up A Home Recording Studio.

This guide gives a great overview of how to turn your spare room into a recording space to make music. It even has a very helpful chapter that deals with common mistakes when it comes to converting your room. I really liked the chapter about exactly how to set everything up. This has been very helpful as I decide which of my rooms will be best suited to convert into a full studio!
