I should have realized this was mostly about how t
I learned...
-The type of microphone recommended. I had it.
-Not to do a lot of Dragon's speaking exercises because it doesn't train Dragon for me. I wasn't.
-Practice with my phone apps that do voice to text. (Have been for years.)
-Practice until I get better.
-The experience of the author and his compelling reason for beginning to investigate dragon.
I haven't yet investigated the bonus material.
After I do that I may change my rating, but for now I am not sure that this had anything to do with training Dragon software for writers specifically.

Disappointed
I’ve been using dragon software we’re about two months and I upgraded to version 16 for my personal use and my work provided me version 16 so I could work more efficiently since I have difficulty with my hands. this book was like a story and not very helpful so in this case, very disappointed. After a while, I was able to just go through the chapters without listening to everything since the storybook wasn’t what I was looking for I need the dragon software for home and work And I know it will help me specially, with the mono dictation documentation necessary to do my work and since I work at home.

Buy the book and dictate your stories
extremely complete, well explained, easy to understand, well reasoned and materially helpful with direct pointers for useage prep. I went to Dragon after first see a quadriplegic friend of mine using a Dragon team supplied Apple 2E and beta testing voice writing using the military alphabet, letter by letter and punct mark by mark and a few other simple commands. That was 1995....and he did slowly produce tracts.....like: don't get shot in a dope deal. Mike Reed, Corning. Arkansas. Later, I was shepherded through Dragon medical dictation using hospital house phones. So....now that I'm retired and have the time in Montana winter....it's time for me to tell a few stories. My partners and staff in the hospital want me to tell the stories again. Like repeating tales around the campfire of life. Thanks for the great tips! Buy the book and dictate your stories.

Great tips and tricks.
A lot of this I had already known through trying dragon multiple times. However, there are many tips and tricks in this book to make the overall experience much better. I am actually dictating this review, as per Scott’s suggestion :) it’s much faster.
