Publisher's Summary

While building the Virgin Group over 40 years, Richard Branson has never shied away from seemingly outlandish challenges that others (including his own colleagues on several occasions) considered sheer lunacy. He has taken on giants like British Airways and won, and monsters like Coca-Cola and lost.

Now Branson gives an inside look at his strikingly different swashbuckling style of leadership. Learn how fun, family, passion, and the dying art of listening are key components to what his extended family of employees around the world has always dubbed (with a wink) the "Virgin Way."

This unique perspective comes from a man who dropped out of school at 16, suffers from dyslexia, and has never worked for anyone but himself. He may be famous for thinking outside the box - an expression he despises - but Branson asserts that "you’ll never have to think outside the box if you refuse to let anyone build one around you."

This is a unique audiobook on leadership from someone who readily admits he has never read a book on leadership in his life. So expect the unexpected.

    "Not enough meat"

This book is not very easy for me to finish. It has some good stories. I might also pick up a few tricks here and there. However, I found a lot of the stories are about other people and other facts and other companies, not in depth. I enjoyed other books more like Steve Job or Warren Buffet one. This book just doesn't have enough meat to it.

"My Favorite Book in Recent Yeas"

I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and learned a lot from it. What made it a great listen was the author's humility and humor. I also very much appreciate that Richard Branson told stories and examples not only from his own businesses, but also from other successful companies and leaders. I have the utmost respect for Richard Branson for not only the great things that he has achieved but for his talent for telling stories in a relatable, humorous and inspiring way.

    "Zzzzzzzzzz...."

Honestly there is some great information in here. But this book is more a Bio of Branson's life then anything else. There is no structure what so ever in the book. You could pick the book up any where and just start reading. They defiantly could have cut the fat out of that book and saves a lot of trees. I read boring books before, but at least they were a lot shorter.

    "Narrator is distracting"

I'm sure this would have been a better book if it wasn't for the narrator. He sounds too sarcastic!. More, I thought the ideas could have been drafted much better. If you are looking for a lot of stories, this is your book if you can put up with the narration
