Great Planning and Reference Resource!

What did you love best about The Tax and Legal Playbook?

This book is written in plan English and Mark Kohler's sometimes corny sense of humor makes what can be a very dry topic very readable. The format of the book allows it to be read cover to cover if you want the whole picture, ot just read the chapters on the topics that apply to you or your business.

What does Mark J. Kohler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Make is able to present the material without losing you in the deep jargon of a CPA or Lawyer. This is rare in most authors on this subject. He also provides great real-life examples to illustrate the application of the topics.

Hire a professional

I agree that for tax issues and strategies I need a professional.

I agree that for Legal issues and strategies I need a professional

I agree that the next book that this author writes he needs a professional to narrate.

I agree that a professional should have also edited this audio book

By far the worst audio book recording, narration, and editing job.

Returned this for Refund- bad info

In the first part of the book the author states that an entity (LLC, LLP, C-Corp) in one state does not give you asset protection if you do business in another state. This is not true. I even double checked with my attorney when I heard this in the book since it is so far out in left field. With an error like this in the book, I cannot trust anything else the author says so I returned the book.

Good Content, Terrible Narrator

I wanted to absorb more of what seemed to be helpful content, but couldn't because the author/narrator's reading skills were atrocious. Awkward laughs and irregular cadence made it sound like sentences ended in the middle... at one point words were fumbled over so badly that he stopped reading mid-sentence, remained silent for seconds, then moved on to the next section without finishing the sentence. I had to rewind to make sure that's actually what happened. One chapter was even recorded twice at two different parts in the book.

Get someone else to read!!

Not sure if the author was trying to save money or what. But next time he needs to pay the extra money and have someone read the book who isn't suffering from congestion and doesn't stumble over their words and pause every other sentence. It makes listening to this book painful.

Very Truthful

Mark isn't a fear monger like alot of other authors who push you into business entities that you don't need.
