Awesome Tips & Tricks to prepare for an Interview!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Public Speaker's Guide to Ace Your Interview to be better than the print version?

The audio is great when reading this book allows you to hear the thought process behind the words.

What other book might you compare The Public Speaker's Guide to Ace Your Interview to and why?

Valuable information on attending an interview with the information you need to bring to the interview. How to review and design your responses to the interviewee for an impacting result.

    Which scene was your favorite?

How to build a C.A.G.E - This is a very important tool in an interview that will help you in presenting your accomplishments to the interviewee. I have interviewed several people during my professions along with interviewed for positions myself. The number one area of opportunity I see in people is being able to talk about themselves with this C.A.G.E. model reviewed in the book helps you take your accomplishments and break them down to a level for not only you to see where you have came from and what you have accomplished but it also provides you the knowledge and ability to present these to your interviewee. This can make you or break you in an interview!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

How you have handled a conflict S.T.A.R. this is a great way to access and correct any situations that occur. I will use these steps in the future and apply to any arising situtations.

    Any additional comments?

After reviewing this book and applying the key tools to my last interview. I felt this was one of my best interviews yet. It helped me to be extremely organized in the interview with the information needed. Of course the book does not give you every question you will ever have on an interview however there may be different phrases of questions on each interview you attend there is only one end result to the interview which is to see if you are the right fit for the position. This book allows you to be prepared for any question thrown at you in an interview.

There are better books out there on this subject.

I've listened to lots of books about this subject and while I enjoyed this listen it didn't quite standout from the many other books I've listened to that were similiar to this topic.

    EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY

    Any additional comments?

Just incredible. I am an engineer and applied for a job at a company for which I really want to work. The position isn't really one I wanted - but I was willing to make the sacrifice to get my foot in the door. I listened to this audiobook and then relistened to my bookmarked sections and followed the applicable advice. At the end of the interview, the woman from HR who assisted the hiring manager during the interview asked him if he could hold off on his decision until she put my resume in front of some other hiring managers. I have never had an interview go so well to end like that! I got a call the following week to interview for a position that fits my goals and skills completely. Right position + right company = dream job. Needless to say, I am preparing for that interview with this book. I can't recommend this book enough.

Very, very well read. Great voice. Very enjoyable listen.
