The end was my favorite part

TREMENDOUSLY thorough! I probably should have listened to this book BEFORE I became a landlord. May not be too useful for current landlords. Very good tools and resources mentioned and on website. Several portions of the book were repeated; to a point I thought I mistakenly skipped back to a previous section. Narrator was amazing.

Great for beginners

This offers a lot the lingo and terminology used in the industry. In order to seem like a professional to other professionals you must sound like one first. I saw complaints about the materials not being available but if you click on the 3 dots at the top and read down the list you will see included PDF Materials.

Great book for people new to real estate.

I'm a Realtor and soon to be real estate investor. This book was very informative and to the point. It had practical tips that can be applied today. Mr. Chavis has broke down every aspect of property management into simple easy to understand language that anyone can comprehend. This book is a excellent compliment to his first book Buy it, Rent it, Profit. If you are even remotely interested in property management, this book is what you need to get started right now.

Great Book

I’ve listened to both Landlord Entrepreneur and Buy it, Rent it, Profit!!! I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase. I’ve also purchased the paperback versions of each book for future references and forms. Every real estate investors should add these to their library.

Decent Book, but A LOT OF FALSE PROMISES

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The book does have some good information, however the book states on MANY OCCASIONS additional information can be found on the website - MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE INFORMATION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE.

Would you ever listen to anything by Bryan M. Chavis again?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tom Perkins?

N/A

Who do you think would benefit most from listening to The Landlord Entrepreneur?

Beginners may benefit from the book, but the plus would be if the information presented in the book actually existed on the website.

Any additional comments?

The author claims to be an expert in the industry, with the Landlord Academy being the premier site for landlords to get a great education. The website lacks the additional information the book FREQUENTLY references and the site itself just seems to be a site full of links referring people to other websites where the author collects money for the referral. The book claims a lot of credit for doing stuff (aka the applicant approval process with TransUnion) that they most likely didn't accomplish on their own or had any involvement in creating.Good information, but very deceptively delivered and they do not follow through with the information they state is on the website.DO NOT BUY THIS AUDIO OR BOOK ITSELF.

Good general guide but gineric information.

Overall, the book was okay. The information would be good for someone who knows nothing about real estate or property management but does not provide much information for someone who has done any prior research. The book could have gone much more into the details of the broad points that are discussed.

Also, there are far too many self advertisements in the book! The Landlord Academy seem like a okay source for general information but it is not a major nationally-recognized property management authority as the author is making it out to be. It almost makes the book feel like a big advertisement.

If you like lists

The Landlord Entrepreneur includes a wealth of information but is presented quite often in a listicle format. Methodical but not that exciting.

Aged , old story telling. Robotic voice, other audio books better

Long drawn out story, reference to “if you don’t know about my previous best seller book, speaking engagements, successful academy” blah blah.
I don’t prefer Bigger Pockets stories or products but BP rental audible books above forward w the subject matter. This is so slow and lecturing down on reader. I am listening to this as I shower or drive but it lulls one to sleep so I have to turn it off.
This book likes to give poor scenarios like “if you think real estate is easy , think again”. It goes on to say you should be more serious about the future. Missteps would be not being better than the next investor or Mgr. Reviewing this as I listen to this poorly edited book.
Wish I could get my money and time and interest back.
