7-Habits Starts at 2:28.

Skip to 2:28 to listen to the 7-Habits first. The 8th habit is at the beginning.

Incredible Read!

I often revisit this book when I'm struggling to find a solution to a issue I'm facing. It's a wonderful guide and a true gift to anyone that needs to, "sharpen the saw".

Good but weak

What did you love best about The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People & The 8th Habit (Special 6-Hour Abridgement)?

Not woven too well. Hard to pick out the seven among the eighth habit even though I knew them well. It was more confusing than enlightening.

What did you like best about this story?

He attempted to add the seven habits and eighth together but just didn't pull it off as I expected.

What does Stephen R. Covey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice emphasizes points that he intended to make that you wouldn't read.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Put it all together from the seven and that's how you go from good to great. Mostly, find your voice so you can help others find theirs.

Great Book, Narration and Order Could Be Improved

Would you listen to The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People & The 8th Habit (Special 6-Hour Abridgement) again? Why?

Yes, this book offers you a lot to think about, so it would be great to review some of the information over and over!

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes, the narration was well paced and it's always nice with an author narrates his/her own book. In this book, you get the full Covey experience. I personally found him a little silly at times, but he was at least animated. I did enjoy the parts in the narration when people gave their own testimonials or feedback based on the topic being discussed.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really enjoyed the call to action in Habit 7. Covey basically tells you to get off your lazy rump and do something that matters in life.

Any additional comments?

I really didn't like how the 8th habit came before the 7th habit...my mind was not really prepared for going right into the 8th habit since I hadn't read the 7 habits book. It would be great if you could switch the order (7 habis first, 8th habit second) or somehow in the chapters tab- section out the two books so it's easy to know where one ends and the other begins.

Abridged version gives a highlight of the books

I am currently reading the physical copy of "The 7 habits of highly effective people" and bought the audiobook so that I can listen and follow on the book at the same time. I did not realise that this is an abridged version of the book and the "8th habit". I actually loved that as I got to listen and understand the whole picture! I'm looking forward to reading the two books and implementing them in my life

One of my most favorite books!

Goes through the 8th habit and then 7 habits. I loved this wholistic view as a foundation to personal, career and leadership growth. Very well elaborated by stories and examples, it is deep and strong yet simple. Narration is great too! Thanks!

So practical!

In this book, the author presents 7 things that need to be mastered in order for the reader to become a highly effective and successful person. The 8th habit is a wonderful bonus to read!
