Great for those that want to start a business!!!

What other book might you compare Selling at Events to and why?

The advantage of working at an event first is that the overhead is much lower than starting up your own store, it is less time consuming, and you don't have to risk putting all of your finances into the business, which may end up failing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

i heard it in one sitting!!!!

Any additional comments?

The authors also suggest that it allows you to build up a fan base for your products so that when you actually do open your own shop one day you won't have the headache of figuring out how to get people in the door.

Liked the audio as much as Kindle.

What other book might you compare Selling at Events to and why?

More than being a comprehensive guide for entrepreneurs, it’s a celebration of individual success, with personal accounts of those who tried what they loved doing, and walked away a success, without having to give up their day jobs.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Incredibly Informative! Great Book!!

This is an incredibly informative book. The authors are speaking from years of experience and it shows. I had no idea there was so much involved in getting a booth at a festival. This book walks you through how to do everything from scouting out the competition to getting in touch with the event coordinators to what kind of booth you should have. Setting up a booth is not as easy as just staking a claim and putting up a table. I had no idea how involved the process was and this book is a real eye opener.

Fantastic resource

As someone that frequents festivals and food truck gatherings, I have sometimes wondered if I would be successful as a vendor. This audiobook makes relevant points and obtainable objectives for any start-up or established business that wants to reach out to more customers. The authors present real-life scenarios and examples for everything you need to know about selling and promoting at events from how to merchandise your product to what take-out container to use. It also covers legal, tax, and health code regulations and sets up a business plan for you to follow. The audiobook is extremely informative and can be applied to more than just festivals because a business is a business whether it's food, clothes, a booth, an online store, etc. It provides pointers on networking, how to seek out the right partners/event hosts, how to create an engaging logo, and how to recover from a failed event. I will definitely be referencing this guide again.

Best Book Ever!!!

Any additional comments?

This book is simply awesome, it really has given me some major insight in how to sell and why people go with a sale and how to close the deal. It really has made a significant change in a short amount of time. I realized it is a lot cheaper for me to spend more time on becoming a better salesperson than more money on marketing. This book has helped bridge that gap and has made a big impact.

Great grab!!!

I would make some of my sales meetings center around specific sections of it, and I'd suggest that each sales person develop a sales playbook, step by step, following author Charles Jensen suggestions. It's good.
Very Good to hear.
