Publisher's summary

Discover the vital relationship that will take your company from "what's next?" to "we have liftoff!" Visionaries have groundbreaking ideas. Integrators make those ideas realities. This explosive combination is the key to getting everything you want out of your business. It worked for Disney. It worked for McDonald's. It worked for Ford. It can work for you. From the author of the best-selling Traction, Rocket Fuel details the integral roles of the visionary and integrator and explains how an effective relationship between the two can help your business thrive. Offering advice to help visionary-minded and integrator-minded individuals find one another, Rocket Fuel also features assessments, so you're able to determine whether you're a visionary or an integrator. Without an integrator, a visionary is far less likely to succeed long term and realize the company's ultimate goals; likewise, with no visionary, an integrator can't rise to his or her full potential. When these two people come together to share their natural talents and innate skill sets, it's like rocket fuel - they have the power to reach new heights for virtually any company or organization.

The concept discussed in the book is really good.

The concept of the book is really good and I learned a lot. Unfortunately it repeated itself so much that I found myself not paying attention by the middle if the book.

Great business & leadership read

While I read Traction first, Rocket Fuel is a book I wish I'd read 20 years ago! I truly appreciate Wickman's practicality and simplicity. He wastes no time and minces no words! The book is a great balance philosophy and practicality. He first explains what he believes a business needs to be successful and why, then he provides tools to bring theory to reality.

Great description of top working relationships

Well prepared and thought out. Defines roles and best practices for a VI team. Will need to get a paper copy for access to charts and tools.

potentially transformative concept!

this concept seems like it could really work like the title suggests, rocket fuel to jump start many kinds of projects. it was my first audio book and I sort of kept forgetting it was a book and not a podcast. for that reason I feel like I missed out on diagrams and charts referenced frequently. I tried looking online but there's a lot of jargon used in this system so it's a little confusing. nonetheless I found the concept invaluable.

further complicating my situation... i work in the arts, predominantly in a non profit setting, where visionaries abound ... I'm not contemplating how to use it in my realm where we are not using the same profit focused metrics.

Amazing EOS book

This book syncs the Visionary and Integrator into one powerful team! It goes into detail on each roll, where to find each other, how to work together, etc..

i learned I'm a visionary!

really powerful way of thinking how a great business should he run. truth be told I did not listen to the last couple chapters (I'm not ready to find an integrator yet) but this is a book I still got a ton of value from. I will never think the same way again. I like that.

Each book helps supplement the other, it is a must if you want to succeed with this system

I started an appliance repair business about a year ago- we are growing fast! I was afraid I would end up building a company just like the one I previously left...this book series is helping ensure that will never happen- and that we will build a team that loves to come to work because there is individual accountability, productivity focused meetings that hash out the issues before they become massive problems and most importantly the 5 rules that will be lived out by the visionary and implementor.

Thank you Gino and great job narrating Mark Winters

Short easy read

Read this book as it was highly recommended to me.

Several factors stood out in the book, the idea of there only being 2 main roles being the visionary / integrator was interesting and considering I didn’t score anywhere near 80 on either I wonder if there’s a third or fourth…

I’d recommend this book if you are a small business owner, everything depends on you, your worried about trust and you feel like your not being the most productive.
