Too shallow to be of benefit to most of us

The book offers about 2 key insights (don't broadcast but listen and always be honest) and goes a long way to explain these from all kind of angles. The way Dave elaborates, doesn't add much to the basic insight,s so after a couple of chapters I just listened to the title and the intro and it got really boaring and repetitive.

Outdated-Big Time. Waste of Money and Time.

If you want to hear about using blackberries, flip cameras, and how Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are using Twitter, this is your book.
I an SO DISAPPOINTED that I spent $14.95 on this book. I wasted my money. This information is a way too old. Useless in today’s world.
The statistics are laughable.
Waste of time and money.

Incredibly Insightful!

I use a lot of suggestions derived from this book. It has helped me understand the perspective of the consumer. The book does a great job of referring to examples of good and bad habits and the results of them. definitely worth the read.

Very likeable book

I've already recommended Dave Kerpen's Likeable Social Media to my teammates - he's got me thinking about how I can leverage his concepts in my professional life. The book is written to be engaging for all levels of expertise in social media and I'd highly recommend to anyone - from the pros looking to spark some creative ideas or explore best practices to beginners looking to capitalize on this emerging communications medium.

I didn't think he was too dynamic, but I always appreciate being able to learn on the go!

Nope

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Performance was ok, but it was hard to appreciate it when content was so shallow.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, this material isn't worth a book that you would pay money - it just a series of self promoting blog posts.

Note to self: do your background work better, don't buy books from authors that clearly have self promoting in mind.

Great tips from an experienced social media pionee

Facebook centric and a little dated though most of the principles apply across social networks.
Well read though the voice grated after a while... Sounded a little cheesy.
One of the better books about marketing through Social Media.

Great Book for Marketers and Business Owners

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I'd certainly recommend it to my friends! Dave Kerpens layout and contents makes it easy and enjoyable to follow and increase your understanding and knowledge of the findemantal benefits and features of social media marketing which a lot of social media marketers and business owners abandon.

What other book might you compare Likeable Social Media to, and why?

I've only read a few social media books however Think Like a Rockstar by Mack Collier certainly comes to mind.

Have you listened to any of Christopher Prince’s other performances? How does this one compare?

This is the first.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I'd love to however sadly I don't have the time however I would if I was on a long haul flight or traveling.

enlightening

When my Director of eBusiness came back from a networking event with the claim that 'the web is dead', I thought I'd better get myself informed. This book was a great start. No sooner had I downloaded the book and I was contacted by the company. I like that. they walk tgere talk.

Useful book

Even though social media developed quite a lot since 2011, this book does a great job of introducing a listener to Facebook and Twitter. Great performance too.
