Publisher's summary

This is a book for anyone who feels they've fallen short of their career potential, or wondered if the things they do or don't do at work are sabotaging their careers.

The truth is, most people learn their greatest lessons not from grasping the brass ring, but from letting go of negative influences and behaviors. Now, Dr. Daniel T. Drubin helps listeners identify what he terms the "rotten bananas": unhealthy habits, relationships, jobs, and beliefs that are holding them back, while providing job-saving, step-by-step advice on how to get back on track, including ways to increase resourcefulness; take responsibility and win "the blame game"; enhance fearlessness; remain purposeful, passionate, and persusasive; and more.

One good paragraph

There is one good paragraph in this book. It is the description of the way that monkey's were captured in the early days of South American jungle exploration. The prospective captors put a banana in a glass bottle. The monkey would come along and try to take the banana out of the glass bottle, but he found that he could not remove the banana and his hand simultaneously. A monkey with a glass bottle attached was pretty easy to capture.
