OK, you might not have heard of me.
I hope that the next few hours you spend with me will change that and will also change the way you think about work and life and limitations and possibilities.
I have been called an observer of people and situations. I am constantly mulling over why people do what they do and how they can do it more effectively.
But more than that, I am a doer. I like to dream big dreams and make them come true.
In addition to running a successfully consulting business for over 35 years and raising three successful adult children with my wife Nancy, I have also found time in the last 10 years to complete six Ironman triathlons - number six in 2016, as a way of celebrating my 66th birthday.
Along the way the folks at Inc. magazine thought my approach to work and life was so unique they saw fit to write a four-page profile about my business and me.
Others it seems although thought I had something to add on the topic of life and work.
Chaz Allen was one such person.
I met Chaz Allen, who narrates the audiobook version of this work, almost 20 years ago when we collaborated on my first audiobooks. It was his suggestion that I start to publish a monthly article of my thoughts and observations. From that suggestion, Secrets of Success was born.
That was over 12 years and 150 articles ago. I was overwhelmed with the success and acceptance of my writings. It has grown to a world-wide audience. Readers from England to Australia. from India to Poland and across the United States, read my Secrets of Success monthly offerings and that readership continues to grow.
Wanting to share my ideas with as many people as possible I've taken 49 of those articles and gathered them into this book.
Michael's insights into business and life are great. He gives down- to- earth advice that is tangible and immediately applicable. If you buy the audiobook, have a pen and paper ready to take notes! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in business, no matter the size of that business.
Any additional comments?
Twenty years ago I started my business with a home equity loan, 2 part-time interns and Michael Bryant. Twenty years later I have a thriving company with a nationwide clientele, 35 full-time employees, but still only one Michael Bryant. That's because there's only one like him. His wisdom is all you need to turn the business labyrinth into a course aimed for success. Listen to Michael, he's the real thing!
Michael Bryant is one of the most insightful individuals you could meet or learn from. Combine that with his captivating story telling ability, and you have a resource to not only improve your business, but also improve your life. "Lessons on Life and Business" will do just that for you. Each one is relatable and valuable, and will ignite a flame of curiosity within, as to how you can apply that lesson to your own life.
I highly recommend this book and in fact suggest listening to it multiple times as that is what I have found as the best way to get the most out of it. I will also share with friends and family, who I know want to improve in any and all areas of life.
Thank you Michael!
