I would recommend the book to people who need to understand the basics of Lean but have not had a chance or resources to take an in depth course yet.

Important topic

A must have resource for the technologist entrepreneur - or candidly any manager in any type company. After the improvement project has been clearly defined and bounded, the first element in the process of quality improvement is the measurement of performance. Effective measurement demands taking a statistical view of all processes and all problems. This reliance on data and logic is crucial to the pursuit of Six Sigma quality.

This book gave me so much valuable and important information about Lean manufacturing and how this thing works and really use it. Lean QuickStart Guide provides a comprehensive overview of a complex system. Despite its complexity, though, the guide simplifies it by providing background information and accessible information. This guide provides tools for anyone in business and will be particularly useful for a beginner. There are also suggestions on how to apply the tools and techniques. The narration, as usual, was spot on. Great resource. Highly recommended!

easy to listen

Easy to listen and comprehensive, but her monotone delivery tends to make you fade in and out. It needs to be more lively, delivered with some personality and not so computerized. Relevant info, helps you keep some key points in mind
