Leans Too Much On An Academic & Theory

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Personally the audio made too much use of reference to the book e.g. as shown in diagram x, and also too much reference to theory. This overuse of these two items made it hard to get a flow for the topics being discussed.

Has Leading in a Culture of Change turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. I've bought and thoroughly enjoyed others in this genre, and as a leadership development practitioner I know what I'm looking for.

How could the performance have been better?

Less reference to diagrams in the book. More on real-world implementation and a different reading energy level.

Must read / listen ( audible book)

The author does a great job at simplicity if writing and addressing important leadership qualities. I especially enjoy the references and referenced material throughout the text. Far better than the books that are full anecdotes. I also appreciate how he stresses the importance of daily learning, slow learning in the context of one's present organization. He redefines or at least introduces the reader to the idea that dissent and conflict is not bad and that life is not chaotic but complex. Very easy to listen

Unimpressive

I don't think any of Fuller's ideas regarding how to lead in a culture of change are very novel. Personally, I felt the book was full of clichés. I was not a fan.
