The title is misleading

It's not about how to "run an online business that pays and pays" but more like how to use adsense and other paying ad networks to make money with blogs and other published content. If you're looking for that, great. If not, then this might not be the book for you.

Good book if you are a novice

If you know nothing about the internet, then this is a good book for you. However, if you are looking to fine tune your existing strategies, keep on looking.

Very good overview of internet business models

Provides several ideas for newbies to the internet business world. Joel Comm does make what he speaks of seem easier than it is in reality. He is also pretty blatant in promoting himself, his products and his own affiliates. If you can look thru his marketing efforts you can gleam some good tidbits of info on internet money-making methods.

Just not enough.

This book wasn???t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This is someone who wants to get into the game (very late).

Would you ever listen to anything by Joel Comm again?

...well written. Better than most of the e-commerce type books.

Very Educational, Lots Of Money Making Ideas

Joel Comm offers a ton of successful strategies to help you create content and make money with it. This books gives lots of ideas from publishing ebooks to making revenue from blogs, websites and other content online. He goes in depth with several advertising options, some you have heard of and some you haven't. He teaches you how to use adsense effectively and how to keep track of what works for you and what doesn't. He also talks about affiliate sales and several other techniques. On top of that he shows you many of his own ventures so that you can see some already successful ideas.

One thing that I love about this book and author is that he did it before he taught it. He is a leader in a generation of web entrepreneurs who have trail-blazed all kinds of new paths that we can all follow. I have read all of his books as well as others in the same category and I can tell you that Joel's are some of the best out there!

Outdated, hypey, monotonous.

What disappointed you about KaChing?

Outdated information and business models. Sensationalistic and exaggerated. Unnecessarily long and repetitive. Incredibly monotonous narrator.

Would you ever listen to anything by Joel Comm again?

Probably not, unless he made massive improvements to future content.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Walter Dixon?

Someone less monotonous. Preferably the author himself.

What character would you cut from KaChing?

N/A
