Good balanced sucess book

I'm always a little skeptical of the "Get Rich My Way" books. Internet Riches is not like that. He gives various way and examples of strategies to make money via the internet. I like his general philosophy of starting out small and using inexpensive resources to get started. I have an internet business, though I'm not rich, yet; the book rings true with my own experiences. His recommendation for online sources are good. The only bad one is he recommends iPowerWeb as a hosting service. I had a nightmare experience with them when my site went down. I went to the book's website and see that he retracted that recommendation. Outside of that, the book is an excellent one.

Sorry, this was a waste of time.

Author is repetitive and provides hardly any actionable knowledge.

This is a wanabe Good Book

Everything he shared is so basic, and old news, that I didn't really find any value in it. Plus it is boring. I love the internet and have been recently having success with my online business. I was hoping to gain a lot more incite into the world of online business, but I felt like I was wasting my time going back to preschool. I'm sure he is a nice guy. Maybe he should have hired someone else to narrate it. I wish I had not bought this book.

Excellent resource and full of ideas!

Scott Fox is a great resource and really spells things out in layman terms.
This book is also a great resource for places to get started.
After reading the book I have continued going to Scott's web-site and have started my web based business with some innitial success. I avoided allot of pitfalls using the advice given in this book.

Repetitive, Book, too Broad, and boring!

Book is written for the someone who knows nothing of the internet, and is new to the idea of making money on line. I am a little disappointed in some of the outdated content. I work for one of the largest e-commerce companies on the PLANET, and I found little of this info useful! Get to the POINT ALREADY! :/

    Basic

It sounds like it might be good, but not worth the credit. Some of the 5 star reviews sound fake.

    Out Of Date

What disappointed you about Internet Riches?

The book was way out of date by the time I read it.

What could Scott Fox have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The book was probably very good when it first came out, but no longer current info.

    Some interesting pointers, but ...

What did you like best about Internet Riches? What did you like least?

I liked the stories of successful entrepreneurs, and the way he classifies the different types of businesses into categories. He finds some interesting insights by doing so. The book is a bit out of date, i looked at some of the businesses he talks about, and some are not online anymore.

Would you be willing to try another book from Scott Fox? Why or why not?

I don't think i will be reading (listening) another book from him. The book leaves to many ideas in the air, and also many statements are all around the place in the e-marketing world. In brief, it is more of the same...
Quotes like "My definition of success is making money by doing something you love" are found all around the web, and really don't provide anything to the reader/listener.
What three words best describe Scott Fox’s voice?

His voice is OK, I like the tone and the way he works with the listener through the book.

Do you think Internet Riches needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I really don't know, but i would definitely love to see something more original. If there is a follow up, make it something different not more of the same.

    Pep talk!

I was disaponted because I was looking for a deeper advice regarding the "how-to" and all I found was a motivational speech explaining what a great business opportunity internet is, which I already knew. If you would like something more detailed and updated go and listen Digital Handshake it goes one step further.
