Or discover how to win the cooperation of senior managers who are hard to reach, and hard to sell on your ideas, products, or services. Narration Ruins the Experience

What would have made Influencing Up better?

The narration is unbearable.

What was most disappointing about Allan R Cohen and David L. Bradford ’s story?

I couldn't get to the story.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Phillip Dubois?

The narrator could not possibly be a human voice.

Any additional comments?

Audible should not offer computer generated narration.

Computer voice narration

What would have made Influencing Up better?

Human narrator

What was most disappointing about Allan R Cohen and David L. Bradford ’s story?

Cannot believe this is a human narrator. Halting, unnatural intonation -- cannot tell what is being communicated because the pauses and flow are DESTROYED by the narrator. Makes this very hard to understand, even with a lot of focus.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Phillip Dubois?

Virtually anyone.

Unable to finish

Any additional comments?

Unfortunately, I have yet to make it through the first chapter or two. This topic is extremely interesting to me, but I found the narrator speaking with such an odd, distracting cadence at times, and in such a dry voice (think Ben Stein in a Clear Eyes commercial, but even less entertaining and conversational) that I haven't been able to get far in this book. I'm really bummed since I do so want to learn more about this topic! I will keep trying, but for now, my rating is pretty low here....
