Any additional comments?

Blog tours are the newest big thing in marketing a book and this book appears to be the gold standard on how to organize a blog tour. This book covers a step-by-step guide on how to planning, booking, promote and track the success of a blog tour. It also includes several ideas of different types of posts a blogger can do.

Before reading this book, I previously hired a company to organize a blog tour for me. Since I had very little knowledge of a blog tour, I did not know what to expect and but my faith in the tour organizer. Since reading this book, I now can speak intelligently with the tour organizer and share ideas of different ways to promote my books on a tour.

Whether your hire a company to run your blog tour or decide to DIY it, you will want this book by your side. My only regret is that I reviewed the audio version instead of the paperback because this is definitely a book that you would want to highlight or take notes.
I was provided this book by publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Interested in promoting your new book on the internet using a blog tour, but don’t know much about blog tours? Then, this is the audiobook for you. How to Promote Your Book with a Blog Tour by A. Terry addresses all aspects of blog tours from planning the tour, choosing the blogs that are appropriate for both your book and you, contacting bloggers, and much more about the planning stage, through executing the blog and, finally, what to do after the blog tour is over.

She first defines all the words associated with blog tours, so you not only know what they mean, but can use them appropriately and effectively when corresponding with the bloggers, and, very importantly, where to find these bloggers in your genre. The recording quality is excellent, and the reader is clear and easy to understand. This book is truly a “tour” of blog touring with the goals of making your blog tour professional and successful, ultimately leading to an increase in your book sales afterward. I highly recommend it.
