Needed. Valuable. Welcome contribution.

For some reason, I had a hard time "getting it" the first time I listened to it. I kept pressing the rewind button on my iPhone, to hear paragraphs again.

Not because the book is unclear, but perhaps because it's profound. At least as profound as a book about marketing can be:)

After having finished it, I looked forward to relistening.

I did so, a few weeks later.

And after that second relisten, which happened maybe two months ago now: I feel like relistening for the third time.

I guess it's a marketing mind-bender, to me, this book:)

The narration is good too. When I give five stars for narration, it's because the narrator adds something special to the experience. I think he does so in this instance. Good job.

The Future of Marketing

Would you consider the audio edition of Disruptive Marketing to be better than the print version?

I believe it could be enjoyed in print or audio. The author tailors the story with listeners in mind so it is easy to follow, and his voice is not annoying.

What does Geoffrey Colon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Geoffrey Colon tells personal stories throughout the book so it adds to the stories when you can actually hear his voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed hearing about his projections of future marketing tactics, which helped shape your mind to be a forward thinker.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book for students who are going into marketing or professionals that are looking to shake things up.

Well thought out deep dive into disruption

Colon takes a deep dive into the infrastructure of "the norm" and carefully plots out the paths of disruptive behavior. He takes time to explain scenarios he has experienced and the outcomes his disruptive behavior has affected.

This book is ideal for those who want to think differently, but just need some guidance towards that first step.

Pick it up, listen to it, reflect, learn...then listen to it again.

Disappointed! Waste pf time.

If you never had touched digital marketing, you may learn something new from this book. For me, it seemed like a book-wide introduction for obvious digital themes, full of buzzwords and empty of case studies. Awful.
