good message

A lot of good messages and insights we have in this book mainly for those responsible to manage and deliver the DevOps adoption in the companies. DevOps is a journey and, this way, it needs to be planned and tested all the time in order to fit the companies needs.

The DevOps handbook does a really good job of staying general and providing the reasons for improving various aspects of IT performance and capabilities without devolving into a step-by-step how to book. The authors understand that each organization is different and as such should formulate their DevOps transition differently

Will provide lots of insights

Any additional comments?

This also makes it much more approachable for people just entering the IT field. It also tries to quantify IT as a value generator instead of a black hole of cost in a way that I have no thought of before.

the gap between tech and business!!!

Any additional comments?

I think this is an invaluable resource. It is nice for the layman as well since it breaks down difficult IT concepts for the protagonist to understand. The book does a wonderful job (in this techie's opinion) to bridge the gap between tech and business.
