The traditional approach to investing...

The traditional approach to investing - buy and hold - is no longer true, at least for the next decade or so. The market will rise and fall and with each downturn investors will lose profits that may not be coming back. This book will help you avoid those sharp downturns by understanding stock prices in relationship to their cyclical behaviors created through two human behaviors: greed & fear.
This book introduces the reader to technical analysis - a skill you must have if you plan to take responsibility for your investments. Read this and subscribe to a score of credible bloggers on investing and get busy - you CAN make money in a bear market!

This is very interesting.

This is very interesting. Filled with a lot of information and definitions of what words in the trade world really mean. I don't trade anymore but this book is a great book for someone that does trade or is looking forward to getting in to it. I will be recommending this book to others.

I just love this audible.

covers two of the most important concepts of trading: risk management (i.e., capital preservation) and money management (i.e., position sizing). If you have not internalized these concepts into your belief system already read these chapters, memorize them. They are key disciplines as they will keep you in the game. Four days ago I recommended the book to another full-time trader, and he just wrote back saying, 'I wanted to thank you for recommending

A top audible for me.

This is a good book but I think a day trader needs to focus on more especific trading tactics. The most succesful day traders will focus most of the time on a limited number of stocks and on a limited number of factors. To reduce those numbers even more, many top traders will concentrate only on stocks with momentum. One of the most important aspects one must grasp when trading a stock with momentum is how to approach the rally. Knowing how to trade the rally makes all the difference in the world. Not many books cover this aspect in a simple yet detailed manner.

Many gems of wisdom here.

Deserves five stars. Great book with lots of useful information. I found this to be a good refresher and it provided insight into day trading which I rarely do. However, I am now practicing the techniques in a paper trading account. highly recommend!

Tells you things not well known in Day trading.

I've been studying stock market for a long time now. If I haven't read / listen this book I'd still be scrabbling my head trying to figure out why things happen in the market.
Market makers have a key part in what happens and he explains their game to you. They do have more experience and control over the market than traders do. So either you learn or they burn you.

If you are a Day Trader, then listen this book.

There is lot to learn here but, Anyways, a trader must always read and consider as many trading strategies as he can. There are a lot of good trading strategies out here in this book. The trick is to test them as much as you can -at least on paper- and stick to the one that fits you best and brings you profits consistently.

An Update tuff.

According to the author, It doesn't matter if the stock market is UP or down. There are always going to be certain stocks with positive or negative impetus that you can buy or short sell, either in pre-market hours, regular market hours or in the afterhours session.
