Some people are naturally social and work well and easily with other people. For those of us that aren't naturally this way, this book is a great guide for becoming a conversationalist in any situation! Whether it is a business situation, or a social situation, this audiobook is filled with great tips for learning how to be a pro in these situations, and boost your confidence. After using just a few of the tips in this audiobook, I noticed a great difference in how other people reacted to me in positive ways!

Great Tips for Better Communication Skills

Whether you are preparing for a business meeting or just looking to build your confidence this tutorial will help! This helps you to realize that communication is more than just saying words. The audio book starts by providing an understanding how communication works and then goes into different styles. Being more knowledgeable about communication can help you to better identify your strengths and weaknesses. This also helped me to better identify other people that I communicate with and techniques to make conversations more productive and enjoyable. The numerous tips provided are easy to use and integrate into your daily life. Also, I enjoyed the chapter on persuasion. I am now aware of so many more pieces that go into mastering communication skills and this will help me with my professional life.

This book starts off with a detailed explanation of the benefits to having good communication skills, such as being able to develop great relationships at work, with customers, in personal relationships and more. Then it gives you all the strategies needed, including how to effectively use body language, how to look charismatic in your communication with others, how to positively use persuasion in your communication, and other related topics.

If you're shy like me or simply have trouble communicating effectively, Mr. McCloud helps you through by teaching you how to become an engaging conversationalist through all of the tips covered in this audio book. I also feel that those in jobs in sales will find it especially helpful in persuading customers to buy their products and services.

Absolutely. Most of my friends have great ideas but are too shy or awkward to express them properly. With this book, they could finally learn how to properly express their talents.

What did you like best about this story?

The section about how to be likable is important, as being assertive and communicative without knowing how to get people to like you is pointless. That's when you go from being charismatic to being "loud" or "bossy".

If you struggle wish shyness or anxiety, or just want to make a good impression at your workplace, this book can help. I highly recommend it for everyone who has a job where you have to work with others.

Great Speaker and Succinct Delivery

The information was well organized and delivered in a succinct manner. No fluff. Very much on topic throughout and the content totally met my expectations. I especially like the references to the YouTube videos. Will listen to this many times.

Ace McCloud has so many self help books that can compare with communication skills. I would compare it to his Leadership book because communication is vital to being a leader and many of the concepts are similar in the books.

What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Mackey has a real talent for story telling. He can even bring a non-fiction book to life. His voice inflections keep everything interesting and bring out hidden points in the book that you might glance over if you were just reading it. His emphasis puts everything into view.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Communication Skills?

There are many things that I will apply from this book, but the most interesting and useful for me is the use of body language. This part of the book helped me to understand what I was conveying with my body language and how to read others when communicating with them.

Any additional comments?

This book has excellent suggestions on how to communicate better in business, on the street and with your friends and family. It teaches you how to be charismatic, how to get what you want through communication, suggestions on body language and the best points of conversation.

Book info good. Narration is a challenge

I can't stand this narrator. Enough that I want to return all books narrated by him. Really hard to listen to.

Although it felt a tad bit short. The author covered all aspects in being an effective communicator.
