Publisher's summary

Charm is good business. It can increase your income, boost your status, and establish and maintain your reputation. Most businesspeople don't fully understand the concept of charm. It ought to be a reflex, a conditioned response, to "turn on the charm" when dealing with customers, clients, associates, and employees, but it isn't.

Charm draws customers. Charm gets noticed. But charm is only partly innate. Much of it is learned, from your parents, from your friends, and from people like author Michael Levine, who has made a lifelong point of paying attention to charm. And you can learn how to make it work for you. How to succeed in business without really trying? By charming your way to the top.

I want my money back

The author finds 1000 different ways to say that charm is important. Treating people nicely and showing that you care by going the extra mile is important. And it will help you. And you should do it. Then go out and do it more.

Get the idea? Now you've heard about 99% of what this book has to offer. There's nothing here that isn't pure common sense.

Pure Drivel

Such a ridiculous waste of time - shame on the publisher for letting this mindless rant of a self-absorbed author slip through.

A waste of time

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Nothing that I can think of

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes

You didn???t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

A couple

Any additional comments?

This author is completely wrong about charm. A master manipulator and psychopath is not charming! They are just master manipulators and psychopaths.
