Every entrepreneur should read or listen to this book.

This book is so rich on content I need to give it another listen. The basics of the book are clarifying your message and making your customer the hero of the story. Miller goes into detail and lays out the framework and gives plenty of real life examples. This is an invaluable business/marketing/branding book.

excellent breakdown of how to utilize story <br />

after listening to first two chapters I immediately wanted to go back and Implement all of the tactics and ideas that he recommended that's how useful the book is don't need anymore Concepts without simple implementation

Phenomenal... BUT best as a hardcopy

As much as I LOVE audio books, every once in a while I come across one that I can't help but recognize, should have been just a hard copy. This is a phenomenal book!! Although it was not written to be an audiobook and that's pretty clear. The way that it's read and how you're supposed to be looking at things in the book. Plus it is packed full of good information that needs to be highlighted and come back to time and time again.

Interesting, and with a step by step guide

It was a very easy read but I do suggest reading most chapters twice to get all your juices flowing and create your brand script. I loved the examples and the step by step guide to creating a story brand script.

Excellent!

Whether you are in marketing, a small business owner, or an HR professional, do yourself a favor and read this book! It provides an excellent framework for drawing your audience in to your product or service through focus on THEIR goals, who THEY are, and why THEY are able to achieve THEIR goals by working with you - all with a storybook feel.

Resourceful, mind opening.

I genuinely believe the people bashing this book just didn't get it.

Of course Donald is going to promote his services somehow, he is putting his philosophy into practice. However this book is far from being a side pitch to his website as some people state, it provides a free tool to help you organize your marketing strategy which he often refers to, and I found it incredibly helpful.

It is incredibly resourceful for such a low price. it personally left me with a really complete strategy to starting my marketing strategy. I feel like I untapped the Pandora box of psylogocial tricks to market my products and gave me a solid roadmap to follow and keep researching on the subject. it's a book about communicating effectively.

I highly recommend this to anyone that isn't already a marketing expert and wants to start selling something or simply build an online process and make people connect with their brand.

He lays it all out for you

The company I work for has encouraged all of us in the marketing department to read this book and I see why. He lays out a complete gameplan on how to create a compelling story for your brand that will attract and convert all the right customers. nice voice to listen to and there are a lot of great stories weaved throughout the book to keep you engaged.

clear, concise - messaging

Marketing your business or idea takes telling a good story to get others excited about your dream. This book is excellent at telling you HOW to do it and WHY your current messaging is not working. this 7-step framework can and should be used business and even your personal life. I liked it so much, I purchased his online course.
