This One Stays With You

If you know me, you already know how I feel about Julia.

The way Julia Desjardin is brought to life through Lori Prince’s narration is everything. You don’t just hear the story , you feel it. The emotion, the tension, and especially the quiet moments. The way love is shown in everyday actions. It’s not overdone or dramatic — it feels real and earned.

And then you add in the cold case element. That’s what really pulls you in. Each case keeps you hooked while still centering the story on the characters and their relationships.

I’m just gonna say it, I need something to happen between Alice and Melanie.

Overall, this is a phenomenal series by Eliza Lentzski that you absolutely don’t want to miss.

Excellent Series

This series of books is so satisfying. The main characters are likable but complicated, the plots are interesting, the writing is excellent, the narration is as well—I find myself waiting for the next book, and when it comes, it never disappoints. I hope we continue to get to experience the fictional life journey of Julia and Cassidy, who are bonding, learning, and healing with each new book. Well done, Eliza Lentzski and Lori Prince!

Love the realness of the characters

Excellent! The continuation of the story between these two women is seamless. They are formidable, vulnerable and real. Reading is seamless. Ms Lentski is a fabulous story teller. I have become so comfortable with these characters that I find my mind engaging with the nuances of their personalities as she puts them on the page. Each book is different and defining. No repeats.

This series is like the perfect cup of coffee!

Rich! Hot! Steamy! Balanced! Addictive! You just want to wrap both hands around it and let it warm your soul! A super talented Author who brings every possible emotion to the surface teams up with the best narrator ever. It's absolute perfection. I never want it to end!
