I so enjoyed this book.

I didn't think I would like this book. But it was so good. I love Omegaverse books.

Anyway, the characters showed depth and the story was actually relatable to current and past issues. There was just enough romance and a tiny bit of mystery to keep me involved.

My only issues was not being able to tell who was talking as the narrator did not actually change his voice throughout this book for some of the characters and when it was the main two characters talking I got a little confused in the beginning. This did not detract from the story and I was able to keep up with what was going on.

As I am writing this review, I am actually listening to the second book in this series. This book is worth the credit.

accidental re-read XD

so when I got this book I thought the write up was interesting, come to find out it's my second run though. except this time audible. it was just as fun the second time around as the first.

great book needs a correction

there was a spot towards the end where it jumped or cut out when they two officers where talking to the woman about her brother.

I really enjoyed this!

From start to finish this was a very interesting book. The case was easy to follow, which made it all the more enjoyable for me.
The narrator too did an amazing job! Nice clear voice and his narration style made the characters come alive (which as far as I have noticed not too many narrators can do). All in all a great book.

What an enjoyable story and loved the mystery side of it! It made you laugh as well as cry so good job!!!

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Omg this audio book was absolutely positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
What did I like about the story? good pace, well written characters (although it took me a while to warm up to Nick!) and an interesting story (mystery thrown in with the romance). I liked that Ryan is a strong omega and doesn't let the other alpha's push him around.

Narrator comment: Clancy Jones is a new narrator for me, he's done a reasonable job narrating Buried Passion. His voice is smooth and suited the story and I enjoyed the audio book. That being said, I've become more familiar with narrators giving different voices (and sound) to each character, this isn't quite one of those types of narration. I would have liked a clearer distinction between the two MC's - I found if i wasn't concentrating on the story I lost track of which character was speaking.

Honest review

I received a free credit for an honest review. The story started off slow. But then it was like a true romance. Sex love and a little angst thrown in. Man falls in love with his mate. Than have a falling out and come back together for a sweet happy ending. A few of the storylines lead to other strong characters but weren’t really relevant yet. I can’t wait for the next book.
