This is part a series of Shorts for BAS series. - The Bureau of Strategic Alternatives (BSA) is a top-secret, quasi-governmental organization whose existence is unknown to the general public and deliberately obscured from elected leadership, including Presidents and Congress. It does not appear in budgets, statutes, or oversight hearings. The Bureau operates outside the conventional constitutional structure by design, maintaining continuity across administrations and political cycles. Knowledge of the BSA is restricted to a small number of long-term institutional contacts embedded within select federal agencies—individuals chosen not for rank, but for discretion, longevity, and strategic judgment.
