Fall Away with this addictive series from the bestselling author of PUNK 57.
New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas delivers an unforgettable romance that toes the fine line between love and hate.
My name is Tate.
He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me by a friendly nickname. No, he'll barely even speak to me. But he still won't leave me alone.
We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumours got worse as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went to France for a year, just to avoid him.
But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way in hell I'll allow him to ruin another year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.
Read the whole series in order:
BULLY; UNTIL YOU; RIVAL; FALLING AWAY; AFLAME (novella); NEXT TO NEVER (novella)

Reseñas de la Crítica
"Penelope creates incredible tension between her characters in this best friends to enemies to lovers romance. It touches on the trauma of high school relationships, first loves and broken hearts, and most importantly, how to be with someone without losing yourself." (Helena Hunting, author of The Good Luck Charm)
"A wonderfully addictive read that kept my heart racing from start to finish. I could not put it down!" (Aestas Book Blog)
"A heated and passionate novel, full of feeling and intensity that will appeal to the reader seeking an emotional rush." (IndieReader)

Jealous MMC.
“You’re mine.”
Slow burn.
This was an entertaining one-sitting read. After binging the Devil’s Night series, this did feel a little “mid” in comparison, but I think that might just be Penelope Douglas’ writing evolving over time. Either way, it was a solid opener to the Fall Away series and definitely served its purpose.
What I really liked was Tatum (our FMC). She wasn’t written as one of the usual stereotypes - neither the cute-and-quirky sunshine girl nor the dark-and-edgy loner. Tate was smart, witty, and daring, and I loved watching her grow, gain confidence, and learn to stand up for herself. The book is told entirely from her POV, and honestly, it worked. Even without Jared’s perspective, I still felt like I got to know him, and I could sense that there was more beneath his behavior and their story.
On the flip side, I could not stand KC. Like… who needs enemies with friends like her? And not just because of that one thing she did (which gave me the absolute ick), but her whole vibe just screamed “mean girl energy.”
All in all, this was a fun, angsty read that scratched the itch for enemies-to-lovers tension. While it didn’t hit the same highs as Devil’s Night for me, it definitely hooked me enough to continue with the series.
oh indeed!!!
