Publisher's summary

Just the sight of Dustin Nikoli spiked fear in my heart. The memories of the things that he had put me through in high school made me want to run in the other direction. I was the dirt on the bottom of his shoes, my only purpose someone for him to torment.

No one else saw it. To his peers, he was a man's man. To all of the girls unaffected by his cruelty, a lust object. He was the hottest *sshole you could ever meet. Pretty face. Amazing body. Ugly on the inside.

I moved to another city for college to avoid him. I never expected that he would already be there. Maybe I should have done my research better.

The night that I ran into him couldn't have been any worse. He was the straw that broke the camel's back. I wasn't taking his crap anymore, though. I used my inebriation to give me courage and told him everything I thought about him. And then I ended up in his bed....

This is a stand-alone novel.

Not necessarily a bully but............

So the first chapter starts off with Brenna talking about highschool and her love for a boy named Bobby. Her obsession with him and everything he does is a little bit crazy but I went with it. Not once in the beginning is mention of a bully named Dustin.

Brenna ends up following her crush Bobby to the college of his choice away from home (not weird right). One night when going to a party she runs into Dustin and that is the first mention of this bully from the title and synopsis. Through out the story she emphasizes how much Dustin hurt her in high school and how mean he was to her but we didn't have any experience with that to build on so it was kind of empty.

The story does not match the blurb but I still didn't hate it. Brenna was a bit immature but the story kept my attention and I was fine with the way it ended.

Brenna and Dustin!

Brenna has been friends with Bobby since they were children however she wants more. When he breaks up with his girlfriend she thinks this is the chance she has been waiting for and decides to attend the same college but she soon finds out it is not meant to be.

Dustin is attending the same college as well. He bullied her all through high school and he is the last person she wants to see. He seems to have a habit of rescuing her from the worst situations, but has he really changed, or will he revert to his old ways when she least expects it?

Brenna could drive you crazy at times as she couldn’t see what was in front of her face in regards to both Bobby and Dustin. I really liked how Dustin’s character developed throughout the story. I thought the narrator did a good job at bringing the characters to life. I voluntarily reviewed an audio copy of this book from the narrator.

Bully review...

Wasn’t sure where this one was going after a really long, rambling first chapter. Almost lost me, but I hung on and am glad I did. Good story and narrator is very talented for both male and female characters. A couple of life lessons to boot!

I was provided this audio book at no charge by the narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBoom dot com

An Unexpected Romance with Great Characters

Bobby is the man. The best man, or really dream man as far as Brenna is considered. Dustin is a jock who bullied her. But we don't stay who we were in high school, and it's wonderful to see just who Brenna and Dustin are as they get to know each other. The best part is letting the love story reveal just what's happened between Bobby, Brenna and Dustin. A truly touching romance with great characters.

Great Read

Bully was a great read by Sky Corgan. Brenna is in love with her friend Bobby even though he keeps her in the friend zone. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Bully Review

The storyline, or idea, was a good one, but lacked character development between H & h. Choice of verbiage was immature & underdeveloped, even for a “college” setting.

Great bones

It has all of the bones just not enough meat. The story development should have been flushed out a lot more. The characters do a lot to save it from complete predictability, too.

She Saves Him

I received this story in exchange for a for a review and went in somewhat blind to the details of the story. In opening, you wish to hate Dustin for tormenting our heroine in high school. That was where the story started. I am no longer 25, so at first I was a little put off by the age of the characters, as well as Brenna obsessing over a guy who put her in the friend zone. The story was good, but the age didn't work for me personally. As the story progressed and the characters grew older, I because much more comfortable with the story. As they say, there are always two sides to a story and as you reach into the depths of Dustin's past, I fully changed my perspective on his character. With the addition of Brenna in his life, he changed, she changed, they changed and he was able to face and overcome some of his past challenges. Give this a try. It was my first book by Sky Corgan and I am interested to see her other stories. Ainsley Caswell was a new to me narrator. I like to hear more than one book by narrators before I really make an opinion, and I will seek her out in the future to hear more. Enjoy!

Always love a reformed bully story

This is definitely a HFN story but I liked it although the ending seemed a bit rushed. I'm hoping that just means there's a follow up or book 2?. Anyways, I enjoyed it.

Enjoyable story!

Excellent narration- the story realistically portrays the changes a college woman goes through as she matures, tries new things, and gets out of her comfort zone. When she sees her high school bully on campus, she has to decide if he’s really changed and worth the risk.

I received this book via promo code and this is my honest voluntary review.

Standalone College Hi-Jinks. This book isn't your typical enemies-to-lovers Bully trope.

Brenna is very delusional... and has an unhealthily obsession with her friend Bobby, she's chased him around like a Dawson Leery style lovesick pup most of high school and now that he's finally single, having broken up with his girlfriend Christine, she is hoping that now would be her chance. What she gets is ignored as he rebound plows his way through most girls on campus, the first frat party of the year brings her face to face with Dustin Nikoli, her own personal hell, the guy who bullied her in High School. He's nothing like the boy she remembers, hes repentant. She just wanted to dissolve into the paint but recent scenes involving her beloved Bobby have her making terrible decisions, Dustin spent most of his time saving Brenna from herself and those occurrences become so frequent you want him to shake her stalker-self into some modicum of sanity. Eventually the pair form a reluctant friendship and start a relationship. She begins to see theres more to the guy who was her high school nightmare and the reason behind his attempts at seeking redemption will break your heart.
