Publisher's summary

Holt Walker and his sister, Shelly, are doing their best to prove that a murderous bull shark is the culprit for a host of bodies that have been found in their section of the Mississippi River. While their investigation hasn't been entirely fruitful, they do happen to stumble into a drug-running operation that the FBI is trying to shut down.

Agent Talia Bordeaux is desperate. This case is personal to her, and she's willing to enlist anyone who can help her bring down the scum exporting meth down the Mississippi, out through New Orleans. That includes a shark-obsessed marine biologist and his street-smart sister....

Join the three of them as they navigate the bloody waters of the South in an attempt to stop the drug-runners and get to the bottom of the bull-shark mystery. Big Pharmaceuticals, government conspiracies, and even a category-four hurricane are awaiting our trio as they try not to drown in Bull River blues!

So much fun, great story, fun performance

This book is really awesome! I thought the story was fascinating, and the characters are pretty interesting. The setting of the book vividly describes a region of the US plagued with the drug crisis, and how it affects everyone, from the locals all the way to the Feds. The narrator's performance is really fun too, I loved his accent. Great book!

Bull River Blues

This was a really entertaining read! There is a monster in the river. Some people want it gone, some want it to stay.It was contained until the drug runners boat blew up.Now it lurks in hopes someone falls in,or decides to swim. David Phillips was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

What a great story!

When holt walker sees a shark fin after a boat explosion at the age of seven he has no idea the bearing that’s what I have on his life as an adult. He becomes a marine biologist and with his sister who can fix anything with a motor Shelley they travel the waters around Alabama and in his hometown as people go missing he slowly comes to the conclusion but it’s the monster… The shark that was killed by a big-time drug dealer in the 90s. One sergeant tell you what is our way into his life again he doesn’t know how his life will change for the better and for the worse. I absolutely love this story and thought the narrator did a great job with the exception he made hot walker sound like an old man. I I highly recommend this book to those who love mysteries and original plots. It was so good and I loved it!
