A delightful surprise, beyond expectation. I learned more from this book than I anticipated.

This book covers more than just building love in blended families. It dives into the dynamics of the relationship between your significant other, children, step children, the grandparents and grandchildren, grandparents and step kids as well as the relationship between biological kids and step kids. there are so many key elements to making blended families more functional than I ever expected. I recommend any blended families or potential blended families to listen or read this book.

Easy read, not complicated. Good analogies to understand and remember concepts. Both authors worth reading.

Fantastic book for insight and encouragement for blending families

This book provides many great real life examples and situations that you may be experiencing in your struggle to blend your family together. I keep referring back to it and taking more from it as I listen again in times of difficulty and needing some advice. Truly helpful to give you the understanding of what everyone is going through and ability to see different perspectives. I still have much work to do on my part but I’m grateful I found this book to help me as we “slow cook” our family into a great blend of flavors that we can all enjoy.
