The book: “Building a Sustainable Christian Home: The Critical Role of a Woman” was birthed in the place of travail for godly marriages as a leader of the church women group where I served. I witnessed and heard the groans of both men and women as they lamented the inability of their spouses to measure up to God’s standards or their expectations. Each party pointed fingers at the other person, and it’s never their fault. I observed women enter marriages as though to test the waters - with no sense of ownership. They feel it’s up to the men, whatever and however they want it, they play along. The result is that with pressure, they quickly cave in. Making divorce rate to increase even among believers.

So, in my place as a women leader, I interviewed several women, with a focus on those with stable homes. I sought to know the strategy they employed. I read books and biographies of women that made impressions on the sands of time.
I searched the scriptures for the lifestyles of matriarchs who had proven successes in their own lives and homes. The result is the book you now have in your hand. Christian homes can be sustained if built on the Solid Rock of the Word of God, but not without sacrifice. And this is possible even when the Christian woman steps up to it without waiting for the man. A look inside will convince you.
