In the world of investing, the name Warren Buffett is synonymous with success and prosperity—now you can learn how Warren Buffett did it and how you can, too.

Building from the ground up, Buffett chose wisely and picked his stocks with care, in turn amassing the huge fortune for which he is now famous. Mary Buffett, former daughter-in-law of this legendary financial genius and a successful businesswoman in her own right, has teamed up with noted Buffettologist David Clark to create Buffettology, a one-of-a-kind investment guide that explains the winning strategies of the master.

-Learn how to approach investing the way Buffett does, based on the authors' firsthand knowledge of the secrets that have made Buffett the world's second wealthiest man

-Use Buffett's proven method of investing in stocks that will continue to grow over time

-Master the straightforward mathematical equipments that assist Buffett in making investments

-Examine the kinds of companies that capture Buffett's interest, and learn how you can use this information to make your own investment choices of the future

Complete with profiles of fifty-four "Buffett companies"—companies in which Buffett has invested and which the authors believe he continues to follow—Buffettology can show any investor, from beginner to savvy pro, how to create a profitable portfolio.©1998 Mary Buffett and David Clark, All Rights Reserved; (P)1998 Simon & Schuster Inc., All Rights Reserved; Sound Ideas is an Imprint of Simon & Schuster Audio Division, Simon & Schuster Inc.

Very Informative

This book is short yet extremely informative. It took everything I ever knew about investing and took it to the next level. I will have to read this book multiple times to understand what is being said.

Amazing secrets revealed!

strugged to finish as it started getting repetitive to much. i wouldve liked more specific names for examples

If you could sum up Buffettology in three words, what would they be?

In college I learned all about Present Value and Asset Valuation but it seemed to simple to make me rich.
doyyyyyy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Buffettology?

How simple the concept is of treating every investment like an investment instead of speculation.

Which scene was your favorite?

About why Warren drives a used crappy car... Smart guy!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

My cars not sexy but my bank account is!

Any additional comments?

Loved it -- after reading it I sand the Queen song -- "And bad mistakes -- I've made a few" when I thought of how much money I've wasted in my life.

I wish I would have applied this 20 years ago...

As an avid Buffett enthusiast I was disappointed on several levels. Mary Buffett is the ex-wife of Warren's son and seems to be trying to make money off the name, she states everything definitively, over hypes the approach, and while a lot of it is correct, some key aspects are wrong. She also referencesany tools and websites that are outdated and in some cases no longer exist. I would recommend finding a different Buffett book, most are better than this.

An out-dated intro to Buffets investment strategy

Short but good book, worth the use of a credit if you are interested in stocks

Great info

Everything I was looking for in a how to for beginner investors. I enjoyed the read as well.

Great book

I was very dissappointed in this title. "The Warren Buffet Way" in comparison had much more meat and appeared to have the content blessed by the master himself. Mary Buffet annoyed me severely with "Warren believes...", "What Warren says...", etc. The fact that she is profiting from revealing the treasured family secrets, as a scorned divorcee of a close relative, was bothersome also.
