The story is interesting and keeps gripping me. I’m annoyed that I actually like it as much as I do.

Distractingly bad, robotic narration ruins great story

I loved the story, I loved the characters, but this virtual narration is AWFUL. Inconsistent pronunciation of MMC’s name throughout was the funniest—or was it where the narration repeatedly spoke the word “apostrophe”? The male narration and intonation was relatively human but the female narration was robotic and out of place. Glad I had the Kindle version to read because this audiobook was a disaster.

Funny, angsty, sexy, and deliciously hot af!!!!
Listening to this (audiobook) made me feel a lot of emotions. It made me curious, annoyed, angry, upset, and sad. Then on some scenes, I was laughing so hard, then swooning, blushing and giggling. 🤭 This book was good. The banter between Harper and Cian was really cute and funny. 🙈😍 And the side characters were also likable and they made the story more engaging. 👌🏼 This book has action, drama, romance, and omg! The smut!!!!! It's so good and so hot! 🥵 🥵

I accidentally started on the 2nd book of the series but it's fine. It can be read as stand alone. 😉

Overall: I absolutely loved everything about this book, it's fast paced, action packed, well paced, and well written. Read this if you enjoy hot Mafia Romance books. 👀😍 I also recommend listening to this in audiobook. So good! 😝

Love the story, characters.

Love the story, but could not enjoyed it, it was missing the emotions the noises that the narrators voice do. The narrators voice are better.

AI. ... ugg

Not sure why authors choose an AI voice. It just doesn't do the story what it deserves. That being said, the AI voices chosen were better than some I have heard....(I wish the AI voices had names for future searches) and a perk was the author choose a male AI for the male chapters and female AI for those chapters. I usually opt not to listen to AI books but I read book 1 of this series and saw book 2 was out and had a road trip planned so I gave it a go.
Great story, I was prepared to not like the MFC due to book 1 but she redeemed herself. Book 3 (different characters) due our in 2026...too far off

I HATE the virtual voice!

The story was ok if a bit predictable but the mechanical stops & starts as well as SIGNIFICANT mispronunciations just kept dumping me out of the story. I will NOT be buying Virtual Voice stories again
