Publisher's summary

This a classic occult novel from the late 19th century that touches upon such themes as karma, reincarnation, secret societies, meditation, yoga, Saint Germain, conspiracies, and much more.

It is a pause resister and quite an enjoyable romp through all things esoteric and theosophical.

Garver was doing Dan Brown a century before the famous Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.

With a very brief introduction by Professor David Christopher Lane, Ph.D.

Moving and emotional

This novel takes one on a journey to desire a higher form of love. It also opens your mind to the bigger picture of God, and the ladder of progress men can attain to in becoming one with God. The teachings in this ancient novel are continued in The Summit Lighthouse today.

Phenomenal

I had to listen to this a few times to ingest the intent penned in the words, though actual understanding is but a dream, currently. The last 4 words of the book absolutely shocked me: “Om Mani Padme Hum.” मणिपद्मेहूम्
I have these words, in Sanskrit, tattooed on my upper left shoulder, and symbol of om (ॐ) tattooed on my left chest.

I got these tattooed on me in my 20’s, now almost 60.

I read this book for the first time when I was about 12 years old in hardcover form. I happened to remember it, and thought to look it up on Audible, and was very pleased to find it, and listened to it, several times, 45 years later. I’m not sure what the significance here actually is, if there is any, probably not, but something in me whispers that there could very well be. But, I will say that it now has me thinking, wondering why I would have read this at 12 years old and now again at 57 years old. When I got the tattoos, in my 20’s, I had absolutely no clue what I was getting, though it now seems I inherently knew something that I wasn’t, as yet, consciously aware of. I was in the military and getting tattoos at different military bases. I was intrigued by these particular tattoos and decided to add them to my body. Apparently, something inside me was drawn to them, though I had no idea at the time. But again, the last four words of this book absolutely shocked me out of my skin. This is a book well worth reading. It certainly casts an ulterior light on life, and takes the search for meaning and understanding into a whole new realm of perspective.

I went thru it twice.

What a fantastic book. I listened to it twice back to back. If you have heard " Unveiled Mysteries" or
"The Magic Presence". Or books with similar contet, then you will love this book. It is awesome in
every sense. In fact. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think I will go thru it a third time. Yes, its that
good.
