Publisher's summary

She destroyed my family.

After 10 years, Brylee Whitmore has returned to our hometown, giving me my shot at revenge. I thought it would be simple, but she's changed. I was supposed to make her pay for what she’s done, so why do I feel like I have to fix her instead? Coming home was a mistake.

If my dad wasn't sick, I would have stayed away. Chase Foster plans to exact his revenge, and I deserve it. I'm supposed to pay for my sins, but now he wants to fix me instead. Too bad there's nothing left to fix.

One tragedy. Two broken people. Can he forgive her? Can she forgive herself?

Wow!

Wow! Well, I certainly did not see that coming! Although I might have preferred the ending I was expecting, this ending blew me away causing this book to be one that I won't soon forget (and will probably listen to many more times). It was very well written, and the narrator did a great job bringing it to life with all the different characters and voices. I can't wait to listen to other books that have been written by Evan Grace. This is definitely worth a listen and a credit! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

I'm Broken Now Too

JUST READ THIS.

Go in blind and become just as broken.
You'll hate me, you'll hate the author, but at the same time you'll understand forgiveness and moving on.

You won't regret it.

I did not see that coming!

When her father falls ill, Brylee Whitmore returns home for the first time in ten years. Broken and damaged, she’s nothing like the girl she once was, after a traumatic event forced her to leave. Chase Foster, her old high school crush, blames Brylee for destroying his family and wants her to pay for what she’s done. When he learns that she has returned home, he sets his plan for revenge in motion.

This is a story about overcoming tragedy, healing and forgiveness. The author drew me in right from the beginning. The story is fast paced, engaging and never lags. This story will pull at your heart strings and make you feel all the feels. The story has a shocking, jaw dropping ending that you won’t see coming. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how I felt after the ending. It was so shocking and unexpected, but I have to give the author credit for sticking with it and carrying it out.

This audiobook is narrated by Natalie Naudus. She did a great job with the narration and was enjoyable to listen to. This is also the first book I have read/listened to by this author. I thought the story was well written. I’m still a little torn on how I feel about the ending. I can see how some readers may not be happy with it and I can also see how other readers may find it to be genius. Regardless, I did enjoy the book and would recommend it to others. I look forward to reading more from Evan Grace.

Title says it all... it's broken!

Broken Souls is a completely shattering story! This is going to be a pretty short and sweet review because this book is one that if you tell one event you might just slip and tell the entire story. So I’m giving this a 3.5 stars. It wasn’t bad and I really hope the author knows that… 3 Stars is NOT a bad rating. I just had the hardest time connecting with Brylee. I wanted her to be a bit stronger. I was also disappointed on how is all went with Chase. This is so not a happy story and it totally made me sad! I’ll add that while it’s not happy… it’s gripping. It shows how hard it is for people to let go, to move on, to live when life is crappy.

I listened to the audio version. Natalie Naudus was the narrator. She did a fantastic job. This book has emotions all over the place and they are DEEP! To be able to portray a book like this with such flawlessness is a true talent.

Wow, now I’m broken too!💜

This book title says it all. It’s so sad that a tragic accident has the potential to ruin so many lives. This story is engaging and well written and although the story has an HEA, it is not traditional. You’ll likely experience several emotions while reading this book such as joy, anger & sadness.
The narration was absolutely perfect with so many emotions and characters, Natalie Naudus really nailed it.
This book is not for the faint of heart, but if you enjoy an ugly cry, I recommend this book.
