I love all of her books, especially all of her books about Ky & the Shadows Landing. I listen to them over and over. Can’t wait for her 2021 releases. You know, there are some authors who writes series of books & they make a mistake about something small from a previous book. I hate that, not Ms. Brooks, she is spot on.

The laughter just keeps coming!

Talk about fun! Kathleen Brooks keeps bringing the laughter with all those wonderful characters from Shadows Landing. This time there was just enough angst to get you invested with the story but not enough to have you wanting to tear your hair out. This one flows well and quickly into the meat of the action. Hat's off for another author for giving us bad ass women worthy of bad ass men! Eric G. Dove does a wonderful job as always and brings all the characters to life in his own unique way. I never have to wonder who is who when this man is narrating the story. The people of Shadows Landing come together to take care of their own and rise to the occasion like only they can. I am so looking forward to hearing the next chapter in this series. Well worth the credit!

I generally don't like celebrity stories, so much ego among other things. Broken Shadows is an exception. Yes, there is some ego but there is also a strong woman with good convictions and the backbone to stay firm. Trent & Skye make a good match. I also enjoyed the twists and turns of the story. It is nice to get to know the towns people better as well.
