Publisher's summary

Will Cannon hears about the trouble in Casa Rio and he hopes that some of the outlaws killing and stealing in Casa Rio are members of the Blackman Gang. Blackman and his gang of murderous cutthroats killed Will's family and destroyed their plantation houses. Will had sworn a blood oath to find and kill Blackman and every member of his gang. Will knew he was riding into a power keg with the fuse burning in Casa Rio, but he had been in that situation many times before. Will reined his horse in and looked at the small quiet village of Casa Rio. The town might look pretty and peaceful now but that peace will be shattered when the outlaw gang makes its play to take over the open range. Will gets help from a beautiful woman, some hard riding cowboys, and the army to bring the Apaches and the outlaws to justice.

mechanical voice

I listen to audio books because it enables me to read while driving. It's sometimes better than me reading it myself when there are different voices which add personality and realism to the story.

However, having a mechanical sounding voice is annoying. I hate it. If this wasn't a book I needed to read I would not. Can't tell if it is a good story or not becuase the audio voice is so annoying.
