Critic reviews

"Nina Sosanya's Bridget Kurtis is the unquestioned standout. Her no-nonsense, dryly comic delivery really helps to bring Dan Abnett's script to the audiobook format." (Big Comic Page)

I Found it Lacking

If, like me, you have not read the books, then this audio production will not make a lot of sense. There is no introduction or background to set up the story or scenes. Instead of only music at the beginning and between scenes, narration could have been added to give the listener a better picture of the story.

The character narrations were good and the story itself was interesting. If there are additional audio productions of this series, I hope there will be improvements.

Slow to start but worth sticking around.

The cast takes a little while to get their feet, but its worth a listen.

Imaginative dystopian thriller

Nina Sosanya delivers a splendid performance as the heroine of this sci-fi piece. Other voice actors, notably David Warner and Richard Armitage are also very good. It was often difficult to grasp the plot turns, but for the most part [things resolved themselves. We await further episodes.
