what an amazing man and life!!

this was the first book I listened to fully engaged and couldn't wait to hear more. his life his struggles with family and the sport of Jujitsu. this book made me tear up listening to it. he fought his whole life and now a humble man. love this book going to be listening again

Inspired

This book has inspired me to take a different look on my life and to greatly appreciate heritage. I have to sit back and digest this book. It has opened my eyes to honor, tradition and the warrior way.

It is a beautiful and action full book with moments that had my eyes swell. This is a must read for anyone from any background. I the weeks to come I will begin my practice of Grace Jujitsu!

Intimate and Inspiring

I’ve never listen to, or read a book that better demonstrates a commitment to specific ideals, discipline, and honor. I cried at the end, I don’t think I’ve ever done that before after finishing a book. What may have made a difference to me was the fact that I had loosely followed the Gracie family history over the years and I have such a reverence for discipline and hard work. This was an amazing book for me.

great book for anybody but even more amazing to those who follow up Jiu-Jitsu early on. Rickson was an idol doing Jiu-jitsu back in the day and it was very powerful hearing from him today.
