Publisher's summary

Breaking Hollywood is a hot and hilarious stand-alone romance from New York Times best-selling author Samantha Towle....

It wasn't supposed to be like this.... I wasn't supposed to be boyfriendless, homeless, and jobless at 28. And I most definitely wasn't supposed to hit Hollywood's resident bad boy Gabriel Evans with my car and break his foot.

Now I'm stuck in his apartment, taking care of him while he's incapacitated. Living with the hottest guy in Hollywood, who I've had a crush on forever, doesn't sound like a chore, right? Wrong.

Gabriel Evans is rude and crude and drinks way too much, and as soon as his foot is healed I'm out of here.

So why do I keep forgetting to check the classifieds? And keep getting flustered when I see him shirtless? Breaking Hollywood wasn't part of the plan. But neither was falling in love with him.

"Breaking Hollywood is romantic comedy at its best. It's laugh-out-loud funny, incredibly sexy, sweetly heartfelt and unadulterated fun.... You'll be smitten with everything about this entertaining, steamy, and feel-good romance." (USA Today's Happy Ever After)

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵🥵🥵🥵

(Gabriel & Eva): holy crap this book was hilarious. This starts off with a trip to the hospital. Their meet-cute was more of a meet-accident. From then on, it was all fireworks. Gabriel and Eva banter back and forth right from the beginning and it's funny. Gabriel is an actor and Eva is recently unemployed and soon to be homeless. When Gabriel is injured, Eva offers to take care of him and eventually moves in temporarily. They try to fight temptation but find it very hard. When they finally collide, it is HOT, like over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in Texas in the summertime hot while standing in front of a barbecue grill that is all aflame and eating the spiciest peppers type of hot. ST is very detailed and I love it. Of course no book is complete without a little drama and it comes with the BOOM. Hang on to your panties ladies, it's about to blow in here.

Refreshing

It was so nice to listen to a great story that was narrated by someone other than Sebastian York! He’s great and all but when every character in every book sounds the same you loose the desire to pick another character that sounds the same! Thanks Samantha for a great story with refreshing narrators!

Absolutely loved it!

Loved everything about this story! The two main characters argue like children right from the start. It was funny and sort of became their thing. Their bickering was more friendly than actually vicious. There were a few times Gabe made me so angry I wanted to slap some sense into him. Like Speedy (love the nickname btw) though I couldn't help but fall in love with him. Gucci was adorable and showed Speedy's caring side. I would consider this a light and funny story but there are some really sad moments as well.

Narration was amazing! The female did a great job with all the characters and I will definitely listen to her again. Christian Rummel is a top favorite of mine and I hope he narrates more romance books. His voice fits the bad boy characters so well.

Good story, but a little predictable

I loved Gabriel’s trash mouth and Ava’s sass. Thrown together unexpectedly by an accident, their relationship grows. I think my issues with the story was them being together felt unrealistic. Now, later on it makes a little sense, but still, I had to wade through the story to get there.

The sex was steamy, the goat was funny, and I enjoyed the familiar characters as well. I just felt a little out of sync with how friendships really are with this crew.

Overall a good read. Almost 4 stars. I about quit with the conflict, but I held on and liked the outcome, even with the basic HEA. Also, I liked how a personal issue was handled and turned into something inspirational.

Narrators were new to me and did a very good job.

I'm not good with headlines

I loved this book. It kept me engaged from the very beginning. It is a fun romantic comedy. of course, extremely unrealistic but isn't that why we listen to these books? to indulge in a fantasy?

both characters were very likeable and you root for them to get it together. I laughed, I cried and everything in between.

if you're looking for a romantic comedy this is definitely one to choose. I enjoyed that it got right down to their first meeting in the first chapter and I never felt bored or felt the story dragged on. It was well paced.

only thing is if someone ran over my foot id probably spend less time arguing with person who ran over my foot and get my ass to the hospital because holy pain!

of course, Gucci the pygmy goat stole the show. now I want a damn goat! anyways really enjoyed this story.

Laugh Out Loud

The characters are well developed and the exchange between them is hilarious and quick witted. I really enjoyed listening to this book. Christian Rummel is a straight eargasm.

nice listen

Loved listening to the story of how Gabe and Ava found each other and then fell in love. I laughed, and I cried. It was very well written and the narrators did a great job bringing the story to life. I haven't listened to anything from Samantha Towle before, but I want to go and find out what else she has written.
The same with Brooke Bloomingdale, I hadn't listened to her before, but I also want to find other books by her. Loved the way she narrated the book.
