Not one of the author's best
I have been a fan of Lisa Gardner for quite a few years and expected a similar level of story when purchasing this trilogy. Unfortunately, these are apparently earlier works which don't have the same level of suspense and intricacy. Additionally, the narrator read the story stiltedly. I will continue to read/listen to this author buy will concentrate on more recent works.

Uneventful. Lost interest and dropped at 1/3rd
Definitely not suspenful. Several parallel dotted themes. Heavy senteces. Hoped to find an intrigue but lost patience and couldn't focus.

Would you try another book from Lisa Gardner and/or Kate Rudd?
Series was a nice break - I don't think I would read any of these style of writings by Lisa Gardner. I enjoy her other series. Narrator was good

Such a shame
This is an author capable of fantastic plots and great characters that has sold out. maybe sales went down, or she ran out of plots that made sense. I don't mind sex scenes when they fit in. but the last several of her books the characters don't get to know each other, have anything in common. they don't fall in love, they fall in heat and can't focus on anything but sex. by the middle of the books I fast forward in boredom, not offense, which makes an 8 hour book last 4. Please write like the first few of the DD Warren series for your own sake. I'm through hoping you can still do it and wasting money.

I love Lisa Gardner!!! But this book was TERRIBLE. The worst Lisa Gardner book I have ever listened to. The story was just horrible and rushed and then the narrator was also the worst one I’ve ever listened to. I regret wasting a credit on this.
