Not practical

Lots of bla bla bla.. but there is not that much real tips and advices of how to create a strong brand.

Don't waste your time

For anyone with an ounce of business experience this book will be a complete waste of time. It is full of silly and basic superlatives with very few meaningful examples or Analyses. While easy to understand it is not very well written.

well done

It's clear and concise so you don't need an MBA to decode it. Make sure you have a fresh clean notebook ready to go when you sit down with Branding Basics. It gets straight to the point of things to get you into action around your business, non-profit, or hobby immediately and you are left with so much clarity going forward.

Great Overview and Easy to Understand Format

This was worth the time spent listening. It addressed the whole concept of branding and put it in a digestible format.
The narrator did a fine job and I didn't find it monotonous or boring.
The author addressed many areas and gave some actionable steps while keeping interest. I took lots of notes to review and will be using to get our game plan together.
Whether you feel overwhelmed trying to create your brand identity or have no idea what it is, this book is sure to answer some questions and get you on track.

Thorough and practical

This book was very well read and should be easily understood by those wanting to understand what a brand is and how to develop and maintain one. It's incredibly practical giving actual examples rather than just concepts which can be beneficial given the intangible nature of 'brand'.

Yawn

The material and the messages seem mostly reasonable. I'm not a marketing or branding professional but there are no surprises here, unfortunately. I expected to be surprised and intrigued, considering this is the first book I "read" about the topic. Instead, it's one long yawn, great for falling asleep to.
