Kind of a dry story.

Could have been a lot better. Story is dry and so wordy it is hard to get into the story, everything is matter of fact, not a single humorous sentence in the whole book.

wasn't long enough

I really enjoyed this book and wish it was longer. I can't wait to listen to the next in the series. if u like first contact, alien worlds, and earth ending events I think u will enjoy this book!

very interesting. What a great imagination the author has. now have to get next book on series because I really want to know what happens next. Love Scottie, so humble.

great book...where is book 2??!!

while i enjoyed the book very much i an sorely disappointed that there are no more books in this series! it clearly states book 1 yet i can find no reference to book 2 or more! I'm very frustrated.

cliff hanger no sequel

I enjoyed this book and found it fast paced but interesting. Great Narrator and the end opened it up to so many possibilities for a sequel....however...it ends in a major cliffhanger (2018) and there is no sequel as of 2024. althou

Where is book 2

Loved it. Looking for book 2. Fresh plot. Enjoyed the first book a great deal.

Series appears to have been abandoned.

As other reviewers have already pointed out, this book isn’t really complete and ends on a cliffhanger. If the author removed the cliffhanger, we could have called it a complete story. In that the next steps are seemingly obvious and we can assume that all proceeded according to plan and roll credits. But no, they added a big cliffhanger at the end of the story and then dropped the series.

I dropped my overall review down to 3 stars for this because I can’t really recommend an unfinished story. But it was a good story that I enjoyed listening to. Until I realized that the author has written many books in the years since this was released and it does not appear that a book 2 is on the way.

Very enjoyable

I look forward to listening to more of the story. It’s been a while since I have enjoyed an audio book as much as this one.

Off-Beat Sci-Fi Worth The Listen

First off, book ends abruptly, but that should be no surprise as this is Book 1. And since it is but a few months old, we can I am sure expect more into the near future. Other than that I would say that the author as devised a very different alien narrative than what I have encountered before. Not the most cleaver or savvy. Off-beat is about right in this case. I look forward to more.

WAITING FOR BOOK 2

I'm giviing this the highest ratings even though I feel like I got tricked into this marvelous book! It came out as an Audible favorite. I was intrigued and there was no mention, other than it being "Book 1" that I'd get to the end to find out who knows when or if there will be a Book 2. So, read and enjoy at your peril
