secrets come to life

Feye has to come back to Fiasco, Kentucky for her next up PI gig but also to dance at the new hot local bar, where she said goodbye to her sister and mom just five years ago thanks to Lincoln and just a little blackmail. This starts out with hate in the form of spicy banter- bickering until the chemistry just gets too hot for them both. This one we get some good twists and turns with the romance suspense underneath the pure spicy romance. Single dad Lincoln is not only a smoke show he is a great dad and his girls, who will win you over plus their dog and highland cow. We get family drama on both sides, regret, secrets and more secrets, and bourbon and more bourbon.

Lee matched up with Lincoln and Megan did with Feye as well. Megan had a smoky voice that matched up with the dancer/ PI she was. I enjoyed the audiobook a lot - kept me engaged with the story and these two matched up really well with the scenes- sassy, suspenseful, and loving perfectly.

HOLY BOURBON BOYS!!!!! I'm so OBSESSED with this series! I fell in love with Bourbon & Lies and I knew this book was going to be just as amazing and I was right! Lincoln & Faye were the perfect pair and I couldn't get enough of them!

The narrators Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks did an AMAZING job telling Lincoln & Faye's story. I loved this duet so much. Lee and Megan will keep you entertained and will hold you attention throughout the entire book. I could listen to these two all day!

Lincoln Foxx is a widow with two daughters. His girls are the sweetest and you will fall in LOVE with them. You will also fall in LOVE with Lincoln because he's the perfect girl dad! Faye returns after years of being away because her sister is in trouble and she needs to figure out what she has gotten herself into. Lincoln and Faye have an instant chemistry even though they have a little bit of a rough start they slowly start coming around to each other. Once things start changing it starts getting REALLY good!!

This book will have you swooning, blushing and smiling through out the book. You will also get suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat. This book will not disappoint and you will have a GREAT time listening to it. I HIGHLY recommend this book and this series. Victoria Wilder is now a must read or listen to author for me. She stole my heart with this series. So stop what you're doing and grab these books!

So much love for this series! I'm in love with these Foxx brothers! Faye and Lincoln were so perfect...started out not liking each other and slowly switched over! Oh yea I LOVED Lincoln's daughters! They were so funny! A cow! 🤣

Infinite stars!!!

I was absolutely STOKED to have these two in my ear holes and lemme tell yall….they were somehow EVEN BETTER than I could have dreamt them.

Yall are no strangers to my adoration for the Bourbon Boys and all things Victoria Wilder but THIS AUDIO!? It hit SO DIFFERENT. Listening to Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks duke it out with their top tier banter and out of this world tension!? It was literally too good. I am actually a puddle. When I think I couldn’t love this series more the audio took it to a whole new level.

You’re not going to want to miss Linc and Faye. Guaranteed.


I have truly and genuinely never had an author jump to "favorite" territory so quickly. 3 books/reads in and I am so completely invested in and in love with all things Victoria Wilder. I was absolutely out of my mind excited to be back in Fiasco with another Foxx brother. Book 1 has been one of my favorite reads of the year and book 2 was set up to follow suit. Boy, oh boy, was I wrong. Lincoln and Faye.... BLEW THIS OUT OF THE WATER. I don't believe I have ever been SO OBSESSED with an FMC in my entire life. Don't get me wrong, Victoria had me with the glasses with Lincoln,(there's absolutely nothing hotter) so I already knew I was a goner for him from the jump, but FAYE!?! SHE. IS. EVERYTHING. Take no mess, tougher than nails and literally everything I could ever hope to be and I want to be her when I grow up. Between her and Lincoln, these characters are so prismatic, this book has me actually eating out of the palm of its hand. I couldn't get enough. Oh, and did I mention? It's a single parent romance as well!? ......because YES PLEASE DADDY. So hot. So engaging. Spice is top notch, story is even better. I cannot wait for more from this series and more from this author. One of my top reads of the entire year. UNQUESTIONABLY. Infinite stars. Want to read it for the first time again.

Bourbon catches my attention

I am really glad that I started into this series. Victoria Wilder is a new writer to me and I am going to see her in real life at a signing soon.

I love duet narration and Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks did an awesome job with these characters.

There’s smoky seduction that leaks from the pages of this series and I was captivated by the story.

Hotness overload at its finest. And bourbon boys to boot! Hell yeah!

Steamy & Suspenseful

Bourbon and Secrets is a romantic suspense full of mystery, secrets and twists and turns. Faye and Lincoln brought the banter, the tension and all of the heat. I could not get enough of these two. Add in Lincoln’s two precocious girls and protective family, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these characters and be intrigued by the story.

Megan Wicks and Lee Samuels perform this book in duet narration. Megan portrayed Faye’s sassy and protective nature perfectly. Lee does a great job of portraying the protective single dad Lincoln. These two perfectly fit these characters and brought the to life from the page to your ears.

Narrators were the best

Great overall book with characters, story line, good spicy scenes, and loved the narrators who played Lincoln and Faye!

Great story and narration

This is single dad Lincoln and burlesque dancer and private eye Faye Calloway’s story set in Fiasco, Kentucky and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

There were equal parts of suspense and romance which made for an entertaining read/listen.

From the first chapter I was hooked and I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading/listening.

I enjoyed the banter between all the brothers, it added an additional layer to the story. As did Linc’s daughters who at times stole the book.

I love the relationships they have with their uncles and the one they developed with Faye melted my heart.

Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks did a good job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and brought the story to life for me, doing justice to the story that the author created. Both their voices were easy to listen to and I found myself invested in their performances.

Some of the Best Narration I Have Heard

I have to say I loved this book through every page! Victoria brings you a great mix of tropes and delivers them in the best ways. You get the single dad, a burlesque dancer, a small age gap, and so many secrets with bourbon tastings that turn into so much more!

Lincoln is the single dad that is everything you want in a man. He is a lover, fighter, protector, and so dang sweet with the ladies in his life. The man has the best heart, and I swooned over this man!
Faye is trying to keep the secrets that she ran from years ago. This woman is one of the strongest of the female characters I have read. I loved the way she would do anything to keep her family safe! But when she returns home, she gets more than some bourbon!

Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks delivers this book to your ears in the most perfect way. I was hooked with the story, but I was captured by the duet narration.
Lee Samuels is always one I liked, but this has to be his best work. He has perfected the voice of Lincoln and the other men in this book. I loved the gruff voice he had when narrating this one.
Megan Wicks is amazing! Her raspy voice was perfect for Faye! She definitely was the best choice for this character. Even Megan's charisma came through as Faye dazzled people with her shows.

This series is already a favorite of mine, and I can't wait to get to the next book! Victoria is also an author I will go back and read her backlist!!

This book was phenomenal. I devoured it… like, couldn’t-stop-listening, forgot-what-sleep-was kind of good. From the very first chapter, I was hooked, and Victoria Wilder kept me completely captive through every moment of tension, heat, heartbreak, and healing.

The plot? Sharp and addictive.
The romance? Sizzling.
The Foxx family? Still completely obsessed.

This one follows Lincoln and Faye, who have history and let’s just say, it’s not pretty. Their reunion is anything but smooth, but it’s fiery, emotional, and layered with all the complicated feelings you’d expect from two people who’ve grown, changed, and still can’t seem to stay away from each other.

Faye? Total badass. She’s confident, tough, fiercely loyal, and impossible not to root for.
Lincoln? Protective, broody, emotionally complex and a single dad of two girls who completely melted my heart. Watching their slow rebuild and the trust that develops between them, especially around his daughters, was everything. It’s angsty, raw, and so satisfying.

Now… the audiobook? Absolute perfection.

🔥 Lee Samuels was Lincoln, he captured that morally gray, emotionally guarded energy so effortlessly. His delivery was intense and grounded, and somehow he made the nickname “Peach” sound… scandalously hot. The grit and warmth in his voice brought Lincoln to life in the most addicting way.

💫 Megan Wicks absolutely blew me away. This was my first time hearing her narration, and I was mesmerized. Her performance as Faye was confident, sultry, and powerful her voice has this smoky edge that matched the character’s vibe perfectly. She gave Faye depth, vulnerability, and strength in every single scene.
