Publisher's Summary

No last names. No life stories. Those were the rules.

Once upon a time a cocky, copper-haired tourist sauntered into Zara's bar. And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling - a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on. Until an accidental pregnancy changed her life.

Two years later, she's made peace with the notion that Dave No-Last-Name will never be found - until one summer day when he walks into her coffee shop, leveling her with the same hot smile that always renders her defenseless.

Dave Beringer has never forgotten the intense month he spent with prickly Zara. Their nights together were the first true intimacy he'd ever experienced. But the discovery of his child is the shock of a lifetime, and his ugly past puts relationships and family out of reach.

Or does it? Vermont's countryside has a way of nurturing even tortured souls. The fields and the orchards - and hard-won love - are bountiful.

🌟🌟 5 Stars 🌟🌟

I loved this book and stayed up all night to finish it. Sarina Bowen is a must buy author for me! This series has been great from book 1 but this one was my favorite I think. I loved the characters, they were both so good and normal, like they could be your friends. Dave and Zara are incredibly HOT together and they have a great connection. I loved them together from chapter 1. They have such amazing chemistry that you can't help but fall for their love story. I have a huge soft spot for Men with children in my books. This book was sweet, sexy, realistic and my favorite... Not overly dramatic!!!! I also love that all of these series are entwining but even if you don't remember the other books this could have been a stand alone.

The narration was great! Teddy Hamilton was the PERFECT choice for Dave. He really brought Dave to life for me! Seraphine Valentine was also very good, not sure if I have ever heard her before but I would absolutely buy another audiobook if she was narrating!

Feel Goods

The True North Series has been such an emotional, inspiring and sexy journey with a lot of very entertaining and interesting characters. Although the characters do show up from book to book, they do truly stand alone.

Although this book had not a great deal of action and goings on, i still couldn’t turn it off. It had my attention through and through. The characters were endearing, their chemistry palpable and the storyline was so sweet. I really, truly loved it.

Beautiful

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Teddy Hamilton and Seraphine Valentine are amazing in general, always awesome, so it’s no wonder they made this story shine. It is an excellent audiobook.

Bountiful is a standalone, you can read it whithout having read the first three books in the series, but it is better if you have. First of all, because Sarina Bowen does an amazing job of developing the secondary characters in each book. We have glimpses of Zara in all three books, so if you read them in order, you are somewhat familiar with her background story without actually knowing anything specific.

The first twist comes in a very nice crossover with the Brooklyn Bruisers Series. There is also no need to read that series first, but it is very cool for those who have. Dave plays Hockey for the Bruisers, so it is a very smooth way to link both series. I liked it very much.

The story is beautifully written, is witty and heartfelt. It is a second chance romance with a surprise baby in the mix. I am not a fan of the surprise baby trope, but Bountiful works for me. I actually love it. I think is wonderful and very much worth it.

It is a very emotional story. Zara and Dave come from different places and backgrounds, but deep down they both have emotional scars that have influenced their approach to romantic relationships. Zara is tough as nails on the outside, but insecure and vulnerable on the inside. Dave believes he is destined to be alone, so he doesn’t do relationships. But despite their reservations, they develop a bond that will forever link them. They will have to figure out if they are willing to risk their hearts and embrace the love they feel for each other, or keep pretending they are fine with the way they have been living their lives.

One of the things I love about Sarina Bowen’s books is that you get lost in the story but at the same time appreciate the writing. I enjoy reading her because I can’t help but admire her talent, how she creates a world you want to be a part of, and characters you want to be friends with. All I think about when I read this series is that I want to live in Vermont, or at the very least, visit.

Filling in Zara's story

A nice addition to the series, but this title lacks some of the character development of earlier books. Dave is a nice tie-in to the Brooklyn Bruisers series, but I wish we learned more about him.

Great Series

Love the True North series by Sarina Bowen. Can't wait to read book 5 in the series. It's got the right mix of romance & action. She makes you feel like you are a part of these families. Sarina is a new to me author, so I will definitely look for other books written by her.

Beautiful writing.

Zara and Dave’s story was beautifully told. Zara is prickly and Dave indulgent, loving her despite her spikes. I thought his reaction to sudden fatherhood was realistic, as was his cluelessness about how to handle the situation once it sunk in. How his career and family life tore at him is a struggle that many people face, and I liked how he ultimately handled it. He was helped along by the wonderful depiction of adorable Nicole, and Zara who transforms into a mature businesswoman, mother, and member of a loving Italian family. The whole story was a heart-warming journey that I enjoyed thoroughly. Superior writing that is always a pleasure to return to.

The story is a standalone in the True North Series, but I seriously want to go back and re-read all the stories and become immersed in everything Vermont.

I heard this story on Audible. The narrators were wonderful.

Loved it

I loved the whole story but I was a little disappointed in the ending. I wanted it to keep going. I needed more. Good thing I enjoyed it that much...bad, I have no idea how their future played out.

Loved this story!

Sarina Bowen is a fantastic author who writes beautiful stories about HEAs. I did not want this story to end. The narration by Seraphine Valentine and Teddy Hamilton was spot on and flawless. Hearing this book makes me want to go back and listen to the Brooklyn Bruisers series again since it’s been a while.

Not that great

The story was lacking, despite the summary being quite inviting. I was hoping for more than this story could offer.

Easy listen

Easy to listen to book. Nice story. No real drama. There were some plot elements left unanswered. Not a sports based romance, it’s just his job in the background
