Publisher's Summary

When Kadence has a vision of a cabin in the woods, Saxon and his friends are determined to find it.

He’s beginning to think they’re on a wild goose chase...until he stumbles across the cabin and a horde of savages.

Elyse and her father have spent months imprisoned by savages. Tortured and brutalized, she has no hope of getting out alive. When Saxon arrives, he gives her a chance at freedom; however, he wants to know why the savages imprisoned her, and she can never reveal that.

She tries to keep her distance, but when they are trapped together, it becomes increasingly difficult to resist the growing desire between them.

Desperate to save her father, Elyse realizes Saxon may be the only one who can help her, but if she reveals the truth, will he forgive her...or kill her?

The Alliance Series is a spin-off of the Vampire Awakenings series. You do not have to listen to the Vampire Awakenings Series to follow the Alliance Series.

Due to violence, language, and sexual content this book is recommended for listeners 18 and up.

What the heck happened smh.....

Narrator change was the worst thing they could do. Mispronunciation of names, the Irish accents as well as all others have been dropped with this narrators. She sounds as if she is a computer reading. I’m so disappointed. I love the story as it is a spin off from Vampire Awakening. I was just really disappointed.

New Narrator? Did she even research?

While I enjoyed the story and the narrator, there were a few hiccups. First, do your research! Pronounce names correctly, and continue the dialect from the previous 3 books! Second, if they can't do accents then don't hire them! Third, Lucian is "Loo-shun" NOT "Lucy-ian" that drove me nuts!!!!

If she had done all 4 books I wouldn't have cared but doing the 4th when the past 3 were by the same person, you should have followed the trend Tavia did.

all that aside the story was great, and I did very much enjoy it! can't wait for book 5!

Bad narrator choice

Love this series. But the narrator ruined it. I have a picture in my head of what the characters look/sound like and it was ruined in this one. Definitely not a fan of this narrator. :(

Saxon and Elyse, Book 4...Loved It!

Loved this couple...Saxon who satisfied his demon through sex (Yet craving his mate as the sex was meaningless) and Elyse active of savages who use her unusual abilities to their needs and to her horror.
The twist with Elyse parents and the Connie toon to the couple from book 3, Killian and Simone is interesting.
We are taken deeper into the savage world and what is evolving there as well
Enjoyed the narrator

New narrator? WHY????

I don't understand why they would switch narrators half way through the series especially when the first one was so fantastic and praised for it! This new one is ok but definitely detracts from the listening experience. Also- it's pronounced LU-SHIN! Not LU-SI-AN!!! Every time she said it I found myself angrily muttering the correct pronunciation in my head 😢. So annoying!!!

Missed the mark.

I would first like to say I love that the story line continues with the Alliance Fam! The powers that these individuals have are fantastic!
The struggle they go through with their Mates before the bond is complete is intense. The intimate parts are being way over used from previous books. (writers block can drag a book down for sure)
PLEASE DONT USE THIS NARRATER ANYMORE!
She is awful, robot like reading no major or minor difference in the character voices, mispronounced character names. etc...
The narrater can make or break the whole book.
A great story teller that puts their all into a project can be felt. Like they put themselves into the characters world the writter wants to make the reader (listener) feel.
I am struggling to want to listen to the next book or just read it myself since the same narrater is used.

The Narrator

The Narrator was ok, but she needs to practice more with different voices. Most of the voices sounded the same. Its good that the book was written well, otherwise it would be difficult to distinguish narration from characters. I'm disappointed that she is narrating the rest of the series. However, I love the series anyway!
