Enjoyable Storyline

The narrator of this story was very bad and I feel absolutely terrible saying that. After reading the description of the story I was so excited to get started. I have listened to several of BJ Wane’s books and have really enjoyed them. Still a good story but the feeling was lost a bit on the poor narration.

Poor narration

Narrator constantly mispronounced word and emphasized the wrong part of the sentence. in addition you can hear him trying to to catch his breath. last complaint - horrible attempt at accents, better to not try at all.

Need a new narrator

Good story, very hot sex, and I need audiobooks so I can fit reading into my schedule. However, the narrator almost ruined it for me. Talks much too slow, some words mispronounced, and not enough change with different characters speaking or showing emotion and inflection. Ryan West is a perfect example of what a narrator should be, and this one is the other side of the scale. He'd be perfectly fine for some types of books, but romance needs emotion and passion.

Awful narration performance

This has to be the worst audio book performance I've ever listened to. My 7 year old grandchild could have done better. Simple words like duel (dull), district (dis Trict) or pining (pinning) mispronounced. Sentences read so poorly ... there were misplaced pauses almost like someone was waiting for a page turn that came many seconds too late. It would have been better if the reader hadn't done an awful southern accent. I liked the story when I read it. I thought it might be fun to listen. It was not. It was painful. I will be requesting a refund.

Performance sucks

The person reading the book cannot pronounce many of the words on the page or get them correct at all on some. It is frustrating to listen to after listening to another BJ Wane series that was much better and easier to listen to.

Good story, HORRIBLE NARRATOR!!!!!

The only reason I finished listening to this audiobook was the story was worth listening to and the narration became very funny because it was so bad! Where did this producer find this narrator

Terrible narration, but decent story.

I had to play the audiobook at 1.5x because his pacing was so SLOW! Even then, it seemed like he wasn't even trying to do a good job. Just read the story fairly straight. Occasionally would do accents, but they weren't any good. I guess I'm spoiled by good narration. This was the worst I've heard.

Nails on chalkboard

This was a struggle. I wasn't even able to finish. the narrator is not great and the story line is forced. there was an hour 45 left before it even got into the erotica side. otherwise this is a standard romance action/adventure book. Her Cowboy Don's series is far better than this.

good story

good story, bad narrator. needs to work on not being so monotone in the delivery. also, should work on vocabulary. several wrong words read, could tell by the content of the sentence. not a fan of this narrator. will probably avoid all books narrated by him in the future. might listen just to get a little amusement in what words he chooses.
